I recently stayed at Samian Mare, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I arrived, the exceptional service stood out as the highlight of my visit. Accommodations: My room at Samian Mare was beautifully appointed, with a modern and stylish design that provided a comfortable and relaxing environment. The bed was extremely comfortable, contributing to restful nights throughout my stay. Thoughtful touches like a personalized welcome note and complimentary treats added a special touch that made me feel right at home. Amenities: The amenities at Samian Mare are excellent. I particularly enjoyed the serene atmosphere of the spa, which offered a range of rejuvenating treatments. Breakfast at the on-site restaurant was a delight, with delicious meals served by attentive and courteous staff. Location: Samian Mare is perfectly located in a prime area, making it easy to explore the best of the region. Despite its convenient location, the hotel offers a tranquil escape, allowing for a restful and peaceful stay away from the busier parts of the city. If I want to be a stickler, I should say coffee during breakfast was not the best.

"I stayed at this hotel in October and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly lovely and accommodating, and upgrading my room was such a helpful option. The apartment itself was stunning—everything felt new and well-maintained, and you can tell the place is very well-run. The buffet was excellent, with a great variety of delicious options. I was extremely happy with my stay and would love to return next year. Being from Australia, it might be challenging to come back, but if I do, this is definitely where I’ll stay again."

Everything was perfect! The receptionists were adding the little extra to our stay, we could not be more happy. Our room was a suite and it was very clean, big outside area to chill in the evenings - could not ask for more in any way. When the receptionist Francesca was aware we were on our honeymoon, we got an extra surprise when arriving too our room the following afternoon. Both of the Francesca`s in the reception were fantastic: outgoing, service minded, sincere and funny! As it was our honeymoon we were looking for a small, relaxed place to chill. This was the perfect spot: everything close and charming restaurants in the area by the port. Always available sunbeds wich can be a challenge in other hotels. No need to stress in the morning. The spa service was also a big plus. Also possible to go to a bigger beach just 3 km away, and a little hike to a charming church located on the top of the hill from the hotel was definitely worth it. We wish to come back to this little paradise place soon.

What's not to like?

Breakfast is sufficient. The hotel can be considered large and has large seating areas. Having a pool can be considered a plus for those who will relax at the hotel.

If you are coming to Samos for the first time, the hotel’s location may not be one of the most touristic areas where you would want to stay when you come for the first time. Although the hotel is nice, its distance to the port and some touristic centers should be considered. It is a hotel that can be considered if you are coming to the island for the second time or if you are looking for a relaxing holiday.

The location of the hotel is superb, situated right next to the beach. It’s just a stone's throw away from restaurants, vineyards, and the AB Food Market supermarket. The breakfast is fresh and offers a wide variety. The staff is exceptional, providing a warm welcome and excellent service. The room was clean and tidy, exceeding our expectations. The swimming pool is lovely and has a great view. Overall, our experience was very, very good.

If we really look for something to improve it would be breakfast quality. Not because we did not like it, but in order to match overall quality of the hotel, there is room for improvement.

The hotel's facilities were quite good compared to other hotels in Samos, our room was very clean, the hotel was very pleasant in general, and the employee named María at the entrance was very friendly and very helpful. She gave us advice on the restaurant we would go to for dinner with our family, and even called the restaurants herself and informed us about the location and availability. She was very supportive, we will not forget his help.

All staff went our of their way to be helpful, Katerina, Christina and Anastasia were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble, buffet breakfast excellent choices, great location, for non incl restaurants walking distance.

Discounts at local affiliated bar, restaurant and shop. Great staff and relaxing environment. Hotel was very clean, and modern.

Coffee at breakfast was from a machine, and very poor quality. A relatively minor thing, but reduced enjoyment of what was otherwise a very good breakfast.

Staff were amazing. Very welcoming & professional. We received a room upgrade which was appreciated. Breakfast was superb. Numerous options of hot & cold choices. Coffee was from a machine which wasn't the best & we had to pay 2 euro for a cappuccino. Maybe they could invest in a good quality machine that makes cappuccinos. Walking distance to lots of restaurants
