Great welcome and immediately called us inside with our bicycle out of the rain. Then found somewhere to keep it overnight. Lovely room and very clean.

Room was extremely warm with no air conditioning just blow air cooling. We had to sleep with the windows open and the noise from the restaurant and kitchen went on for hours. Breakfast was limited and the eggs etc looked like they had been there a while.

Room was clean and good size. Facilities were good and breakfast buffet was ample.

Smoke alarm with double flashing red LED lights directly above the bed. Who in their right mind thinks that is a prescription for a good nights sleep and rest?

A nice old-fashioned hotel, but with good facilities and spotlessly clean. The reserved parking was excellent, necessary, and worth every Euro of the very reasonable cost. The reception staff were professional, friendly and well-informed, even to the extent of calling up a Google map of directions to a local bird-watching site.

I'd have appreciated more choice and quantity at breakfast, even though I'm quite happy with Continental. Ordering dinner via a QR was confusing for a not very IT savvy old man, but I was rescued by the waiting staff and management.

Very Nice country hotel, clean, comfortable and functional. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were great and hotel has a restaurant which has a wide menu and good cuisine

Location and parking was good. The room was large with a comfortable bed, clean and tidy. There was a seating area in the room.

Strong smell of cigarettes on first entering the room. Breakfast was average.

Spotlessly clean, uncluttered and appeared to be recently renovated. Gentleman at reception was friendly and helpful.

No kettle, but this wasn’t a problem for us.

The staff were very good. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Quiet room. Easy to find. Free Wi-Fi was reliable. Would stay there again.

We could not get any food in the evening until 9pm which is too late for us. Even a snack would have been good but not possible.

Fabulous building, staff were lovely superb restaurant on site.

For us, the mattress was too hard. Perhaps personal preference but would not stop us going back.

we have stayed here before. it has a nice connection to the community, with meeting rooms, a formal dining room, bar and tapas cafe. it may not be iconic but it feels as if it is!

The old style character of the hotel is very attractive. The restaurant food was excellent.

Location was on too busy a street for us because it is in the centre of the city
