This hotel is fabulous! The staff are courteous, welcoming and friendly. They don’t allow “parties” so it’s incredibly quiet. They offer a hot breakfast every day. My favorite thing about it is instead of little “hotel bottle size” soap and toiletries, they use Dove products. 😀. It’s a really nice touch. We have stayed there twice and next time we come back we aren’t hesitating to book there again.

This is minuscule but the soap and lotion are a little too far from the faucet. Lol. People that are vertically challenged, like myself, have to stretch a little. 😁

The hotel was very nice and clean. Our room was very good. We really liked the bathroom and the walk-in shower. The hotel clerk when we checked in was very personable and helpful and very entertaining. She has a wonderful sense of humor. She recommended a restaurant we really enjoyed.

The breakfast was truly horrible. The eggs were microwaved frozen stuff. The sausage patties were cold. I tried to toast a waffle and the toaster did not work. We will not eat breakfast there again.

Breakfast is always great!! We love the sausage, French toast and veggie omelets!!! I just wish they had hashbrowns of some sort!! We stay here for gymnastics meets every year. We love it!

Pool was ice cold during one of our stays so we didn’t plan to use it the last time we were there. Also there was a purple micro fiber towel on top of the toilet paper when we arrived in our bathroom, cleaning lady must’ve left it behind. Hopefully pool is warmer now but overall great place!

Not easy to get to from I57. You can see the hotel from the ramp but you need to drive through a residential area to get to the hotel. Need a GPS to find the lot. Some small signage would help at the intersections.

Breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Very clean and modern facility.

We needed a freezer to re-freeze our ice packs and according to the front desk we couldn't use your freezer "health code violation". We've stayed in several other hotels and never had a problem with this. Maybe it's an Illinois issue.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was quick to help us with extra pillows and blankets. Breakfast was delicious and staff was very courteous. The hotel is a little worn looking

The location was easy to get to and the hotel room was clean. The lobby was really nice and the breakfast was good with ample choices. The staff was friendly. It was consistent with other Holiday Inn Expresses that I’ve stayed in. I would definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

Large, clean rooms; very friendly staff; great value.

Fox News playing in lobby (a more neutral source or no news would be better). Did not shovel or remove ice from sidewalks after a snowfall.

Construction was going on in the parking lot & the cost is overpriced for this hotel, because it’s not anything fancy.

Check-in (we arrived late night) staff attitude was SO welcoming; thoughtfully accommo- dated us with a first floor room next to an outside exit; complimentary breakfast was GREAT; suite was VERY, NICELY furnished; bed/mattress was VERY comfortable.

Housekeeping (particularly our bathroom) left a bit to be desired...
