Our recent stay at Hyatt Regency Thrissur was nothing short of exceptional. Traveling with family and a young child can often be challenging, but the warm hospitality and world-class service here turned our trip into a memorable and joyful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a level of professionalism that set the tone for our entire stay. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff made sure our little one felt equally welcomed with thoughtful gestures that truly touched our hearts. Rooms & Cleanliness: The rooms were immaculate—elegantly designed, spacious, and spotless. The housekeeping team was consistently attentive, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout our stay. It was clear that every detail was considered, from the crisp linens to the perfectly arranged amenities. Dining Experience: The in-house restaurant exceeded our expectations. Every meal was a delight, offering a wide variety of dishes that catered beautifully to both adults and children. The breakfast buffet in particular was a highlight—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The chefs were accommodating to dietary needs and even prepared a special kid-friendly meal on request, which was a thoughtful touch. Service & Staff: What truly sets this property apart is the unparalleled service. Every staff member we interacted with—from the front desk to housekeeping and the restaurant team—was courteous, proactive, and genuinely invested in ensuring our comfort. It’s rare to see this level of personalized care and consistency. Family-Friendly Environment: As a family traveling with a young child, we deeply appreciated the safe, welcoming atmosphere. The hotel has plenty of open space, and the staff was always ready to assist us with anything our child needed. It made for a worry-free stay where we could truly relax and enjoy quality time together

Nothing to be disliked 😀

This is my 4th time at this hotel..i love everything about..the staff across all departments are very humble and kind..we just feel like home.. most importantly this property belongs to Mr. Yusuf Ali who is the chairman of Lulu Group..i just admire him and he is a source of inspiration to many young people..i had the honour of meeting him in person when Lulu was opened their first hypermarket market @ Dana Mall Bahrain in 2005 if my memory is correct...

while driving in with your partner/spouse/family and parking in the spacious compound can be quite awkward. If I do not communicate that I need an umbrella after parking thenI will be drenched and no one at the gate would care to ask you or apologize for the oversight. A little bit of training is necessary for the welcoming staff to think and ask if we need an umbrella or need any further help. This has been the weak link even during my last visit to the hotel. It leaves you with a bit of a bad taste right at the beginning of your stay. The mini bar card mentions a lot of things in the fridge. Unfortunately, it was empty.

A high quality, modern and comfortable hotel. Spacious room for quiet and comfortable sleep. Staff all professional and attentive - thanks especially to restaurant team as it was a very busy evening when we were there. Lovely pool and very decent gym. Bar pleasant to be in - cricket and even some football shown. Thanks also for bookings of taxi/ driver as we moved around India.

The hotel seems a bit out of the main centre so we didn't get a chance to explore easily (we didn't have much time as only a day stop).

Loved the food, location, staff and facilities. The TV was very nice with access to many channels. The Regency Cafe was very well managed. We had the complementary breakfast which was amazing. For lunch we chose a meal from the A la carte which was well served and delicious. The washrooms were perfect. The staff were kind enough to allow us to have a late check out so that we could have lunch.

It took some time for the AC to cool the room up. I was not expecting to see a little bit of the wall paper peeling off at the bottom on one side wall inside a 5 star room. There was also a peculiar smell that occurs when a room has not been aired for sometime, however it stopped once the AC cooled the room up.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would like to thank the restaurant teams and all the chefs to take care of all my preferences every day. Our room was very clean. The supervisor from housekeeping will verify our room and check if we need anything extra. Thank you, the reception team, for all your help and dedication to your work.

My opinion is if you get a long stay, guests just change they breakfast that's all.

The breakfast was like any other 4 hotel . The staff were very courteous and service was propmt .

Gym equipments were Technogym but most of them are kinesis machines . Though kinesis is the best , a few conventional equipments would hv been better. I did not notice a common TV . Ventilation is needed . Only one fan at one corner was not enough .

I appreciate all the staff members, the hygiene, and the cleanliness of this hotel—it’s the best I’ve ever visited as an IHG member. Kudos to the whole team—you guys are simply awesome!

I liked everything, but I felt the food, especially the breakfast, could be more presentable and flavorful. It lacked taste and variety, so I hope they can improve in that area as well.

Overall excellent. Great friendly helpful staff, always greeting you with a smile. Great breakfast. Room was comfortable and clean. Room service and laundry requests were attended to promptly.

In house restaurant prices were too high - food could have been better tasting for the price charged. Couple of items we had were below average.

The hotel exceeded all my expectations, it was clean, smelled very nice everywhere, the food was very tasty, the pool was big and clean, there was alcohol. I don't usually write hotel reviews, but this one deserves it.

The fact that the pool is open until 7 p.m. It would be more convenient for it to work until around 9 pm, because it would be very nice to be able to use it in the evening, especially after a tiring day of sightseeing.
