That breakfast is included aswell as the swimming pool and the sauna. The hotel itself is very beautiful and cosy. A lounge with a bar, billiard, board games and darts. The beds are very comfortable.

The rooms could be cleaner, especially under the bed or corners, some coffee spots on the bed end, same as the tiny fridge was bit dirty, tho the bathroom was very clean and light switches at the bed side were very dirty. For a free breakfast, you get what you expect.

Check in - easy and welcoming Breakfast - good selection of tasty food. Coffee machine good and freshly baked Bread all to a very good standard with clean and comfortable surroundings. Dinner - extensive menu. Black Angus steak cooked to our preferences and staff efficient and friendly. The addition of a sparkling candle for our 49rh wedding anniversary was a lovely surprise. Thank you! Swimming pool and sauna areas were excellent very relaxing with views of the Forrest adding to the ambiance. Cleanliness- excellent. Very comfortable beds and the quietness of the woods meant a good sleep.

Room 308 - due to its location on the top floor end the shape of the room was quirky. A steep slope to one side and a separate W/c that was enclosed in a tiny space. We didn’t complain but we would have if our stay was longer than three nights. I would recommend avoiding this room if possible.

Well appointed and comfortable public rooms, excellent beds and lovely bathroom facilities. Surrounded by miles of gorgeous woodlands, perfect for long walks and bike rides. Very good breakfast buffet, friendly and helpful staff.

Constant, loud music in the dining room and bar area which - especially at breakfast time - is totally inappropriate and unnecessary. It spoils the relaxing atmosphere of this fantastic location. If there HAS to be back ground music, calm Jazz or quiet Classical music would be more appropriate. Why not allow your guests to enjoy the peaceful scenery and woodland sounds that surround the Hotel - which is what makes this location so special.

General condition of the building is a little dated but everything works fine and maintenance is good. Beds very comfortable. Linen and towels all soft, clean and fluffy enough. The gym is very well equipped.

There is no shampoo or hair conditioner, just one general ‘shampoo’ for body and hair and a small bar of soap for handwashing. Wish the ‘spa’ facilities are not segregated into two parts with the other section admissible at extra payment. In addition, it feels like making guests pay extra to ‘rent’ bathrobes and slippers will save them a lot. Not what a four-star hotel should scrimp on. TV in bedroom could do with upgrading to one that would cast or stream. We weren’t in the room long enough to need it but if we stayed more than 3 nights, it would be appreciated.

The suite was a great room for our family. Location is very peaceful with beautiful places to walk. The playroom in the hotel for the kids is great! Food in the restaurant was delicious

The coffee/tea doesn't get restocked and would be great to have some extra in the room. Also would appreciate some conditioner or moisturiser along with the shampoo. If you want to use the pool you need to rent a robe or use the towels from the room but then you don't have any dry towels when you return from the pool.
