Walking distance from beach and amazing pool. Nice view of that lake, connection with nature. Great for turtle watching at night but find an experienced guide.

Unexperienced staff. Unsatisfactory dinner options and and price/quality ratio. Ongoing loud reconstruction that we were not informed about ahead.

The room was beautiful and spacious and I loved the private balcony. Being so close to nature and hearing the sounds of the birds and wildlife was so nice. Passindhu was so lovely and made my stay super special. He was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was amazing!! I liked the location of the guest house and the peace and quiet. I look forward to returning in the future

Loved our time in Hideaway Lodge, staff were super friendly and such a lovely place to have some wind down time after a busy week travelling the north!

Beautifull location, luxurious rooms with view over the lagoon but also very stylish wooden terrace for breakfast, overlooking the lagoon. The staff was very friendly and helpfull, The beach only a 5 minutes walk with a great loungebar.

The large, clean and clear room, the environment near the river, the highly comfortable bed, the large bathroom, the really kind and helpful staff

There was a fridge in the room but it didn't work

The hotel is beautifully located. The surrounding is peaceful and the view from the hotel is magnificent. The room is big and comfortable and the shower is the best in whole Sri Lanka. The owner is friendly and we could use the swimming pool from a nearby hotel which was perfect. Nearby beaches are beautiful and very quiet. We would go back here.

Most amazing accomodation of our entire Sri Lanka trip! Beautiful view over the lagoon from the balcony of our cabana. The owner and staff are incredible. Definitely ask for the Sri Lankan breakfast:)

Rooms and propety were very clean and kept in good standing .

Unfortunately due to the Easter Sunday , COVID and Economy crisis in Srilanka , some of the facility not available . But this is not the only place, tourism industry got hit hard and we could not expect 100% .

The room was very clean, and in a good condition. My wife had a gluten allergy and the staff had very nice alternatives for the breakfast available. Also there was much care for the baby(foodwise), other hotels didnt really had a breakfast for the baby, but hideaway lodge did without asking. Staff is friendly and helpfull. The entourage is great, with a very beautifull garden and location. This hotel was the best stay for us in Sri Lanka!

The location is great! Near the lagoon, you can watch wildlife - birds, big lizards, even quite rare monkeys (not disturbing). A lot of trees and green. The hotel premises are very nice and comfortable. True paradise. Very good breakfast and helpful staff. You can rent a bike as well. Huge beaches just a few minutes walk, and there are places to swim, without big waves.
