I really liked the place; which was calm, clean and comfortable. I have to thank the staff who were professional, nice and welcoming. Mr Mohammed was especially helpful and kind and shared many things which were useful to have a pleasant stay and enjoy all the activities in Dakhla !

We had a great stay at Golden Sunset in Dakhla. It was our first time visiting the Western Sahara and we were eager to explore the area. The hotel is centrally located in the city, so you'll need to pay a little extra for taxis for excursions if you're a tourist (all outside the city, but affordable). The receptionist was very kind and helpful, finding us taxis, recommending excursions, food, etc. Thanks to her, our trip was better.

Staff members are always willing to help and give advice; they in fact went out of their way to be of help and support and make my stay an enjoyable one. I booked this at the last minute when I realized my Dakhla in-town accommodation did not fit into my needs. The hotel is near to all Dakhla activities that I was interested in - I.e. watch kite surfing and eat oysters ☺️. My bonus: the sunrises were so beautiful as the property faces east. Other activities can be arranged as Mohammed who manages the place provides all the information needed and was very concerned with my comfort and safety during my stay.

I didn’t expect that the washroom was in a different building. But I managed the situation and felt safe going out in the evening.

The staff was very nice and kind, the breakfast was good (at the open caffeteria from the ground floor), the room was very clean and well equipped. We travelled by car and we parked safely in front of the hotel. The location is quite normal for Dakhla so manage your expectations. They can also help you with laundry, we paid 11 euros for lots of clothes. We recommend Restaurant Villa Dakhla, 15mins walk from the hotel.

The windows have some exterior curtains that we couldn't open so it was always dark, hard to enjoy some fresh air in the room.

We had a wonderful stay in Dakhla! The hotel has a warm, family-like atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. The staff are incredibly attentive and always check if you need anything. They also arranged a fantastic one-day 4×4 excursion with a local, very knowledgeable driver, taking us to beautiful desert sites such as the White Dune, Imlil, and Porto Rico beach at a very reasonable price. Truly a memorable experience—we can’t wait to come back!
