Amazing location: right at the kiting spot. With low tide they take you by truck to the lagoon, no need to walk. Great service: both at the restaurant and at the sports center. The food was very good, and they have a buffet and adapt to intolerances and preferences. The internet works perfectly if you are planning to do some remote work: several people working and in video calls at the same time, and no issues! The transfer is included and very comfortable and adaptable. I loved staying here and if you think of a kite vacation close to Europe, you cannot go wrong by choosing paraido Dakhla.

The beds are a bit hard for my taste and the storage fee for the usage of the kite center was not presented upfront to me. By no means I think it is unfair to pay for that: they have a compressor, they set-up your equipment, they have cleaning and storage facilities, they have a rescue boat, the guys even stayed to help some guests past their work time (they work until 19), so no issues.

The Paraiso Hotel is hands down my favorite place to stay around the lagoon. Its location is truly unique compared to other camps in the area—super convenient for kitesurfers. It’s just a 15-minute upwind ride to the Speed Spot, about 20 minutes downwind to the White Dune, and also close to the Secret Spot. The on-site kitesurfing center is excellent—they can arrange downwind trips and even pick you up or drop you off at the Secret Spot when the tide is high and Speed Spot isn’t working. There’s plenty of space to kite right in front of the hotel during high tide, which is a big plus. The vibe at the kitesurfing center is really laid-back, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The hotel itself is spotless and offers lots of space to unwind after a day on the water. The food is a highlight—fresh, healthy, and delicious, with consistently high-quality service both in the restaurant and at reception. Amazing personnel and the location is even better :-) As a kitesurfer I was a bit hesitant to book here since you sometimes need to go out with the tractor to the spot however this was so well organized that I sometimes rather would wait for the tide to roll out and go with the tractor instead of kiting in the shallow water in front of the "hotel". The tractor just keeps riding up and down if you want to get to the water or want to get out. You never have to wait longer then 10 minutes and they drive even for 1 person to the spot and back. The school is very good, they are motivated and will help out wherever they can. The lockers are spacious and all your gear will fit inside. If you are unsure about your kiting skills there is always a security boat in the water and personnel on the beach to help you out. The spot itself is amazing, most of the time strong winds and the only persons that are kiting there are the people from the hotel. Since the hotel isn't very big you have lots and lots of space to kite alone if you want to.

The staff were amazing- ussama especially! I unfortunately was also working while I was here- but was able to set up camp in the main restaurant hall and the internet was great- but it’s not in the rooms. The view and accommodations were wonderful and the food was delicious!! Would definitely come back to Paraiso if I’m ever in Dakhla again. Also- there are the sweetest dogs that will ask for pets and snuggle with you!

The sand is always blowing - hat and sunglasses are a must.

Our stay at Paraiso Dakhla was truly exceptional! The breathtaking surroundings and perfect location offered easy access to clean and safe facilities. The staff's incredible friendliness made us feel right at home, with everyone from the manager to the hotel owner being welcoming and attentive to our needs. We delighted in the varied and excellent cuisine, savoring every flavor, while the restaurant staff added to the warm atmosphere with their hospitality. The kite institute and instructors were fantastic, always available to provide invaluable guidance and advice, making our learning experience both fun and addictive. It was the perfect getaway for travelers like us, seeking a connection with nature and a vibrant social community. I eagerly await the chance to return!

Found Hotel Paraiso Dakhla for a kite surfing trip, Bouba was so helpful from the second be booked, and booked up all the lesson and kit we all needed. They where super flexible when our flights were canceled and we had to change the times. transfer was there waiting for us, arrival to hotel was smooth friendly and smiles from everyone. Checkin was easy just in time for dinner. Rooms are big and spacious and extremely clean and comfortable with just the best views. it all looked nice but it's even better in person. Cleaned daily far more than needed but was nice but not necessary special with only 1 person in the rooms Food for every meal was delicious good choice and excellent quality and as much as you wanted. all staff are friendly happy and genuinely please to have you there. i am a slightly fussy eater and i still managed to find plenty to eat at every meal. pool & pool bar was a nice touch too. kite school is excellent with the instructors speaking in perfect english and French very clear and easy to understand what was being explained. hire kit was high quality and in good condition and all set up for you with help on hand any time you need it. wind was not perfect for our stay but due to the kite centre being open long hours we were able to kite every day for 4 or 5 hours up to sunset this was perfect for our needs in every was as 4 middle aged travellers who where there to kitesurf. it caters for all and its not a party hotel like some others its was just the right balance for us. Wifi was nearly always perfect & fast the water does smell of sulphur as its from a bore hole its not an issue all you soon get used to it not sure why people have moaned about it.

Great place for quiet times and kitesurfing. Great rooms with Space and a view.

Be aware: There is not much else than watersports to do there. In low tide the water goes back almost one km away from the station. The tractor goes forth and back with a trailer to bring guests to the waterfront. However, sometimes wind and high tide go together and then you can kite in front of the hotel. However, water depth is still very low, careful with jumps. Upwind kiting to the speed spot in low tide is worthwhile. 25 minutes tack is required in 25 knots. There, and only in low tide, there is the flatest water you can dream about and water deep enough for high jumps gone wrong.

Beautiful place. The spot is tide-dependent - I had one session per day with high-tide when you can launch at the hotel. During low tide, the hotel provides fun transportation (via tractor) to the water. I had couscous on the day of my arrival, and it was the most delicious meal I had on my entire trip. I did an organized downwinder to the white dune, which was fun. Kite school was very helpful with doing some repairs on my equipment. All rooms have a great view - lagoon and sunset is truly amazing. I stayed in two other places in Dakhla and this one is my favorite due to location and relaxation factor.

Room is a bit expensive for solo travelers, but still good value considering it is full board (and food is great). Internet in room and common area is fast when it is there - and there are many networks to connect to. Cell phone internet also works reasonably well. However, some networks go away or slow down for no apparent reason, which seems to be a common problem in the area (same situation at the other two places I stayed in Dakhla). So it's a good place for a workation, but I would be nervous attending important remote meetings.

The room was ample and comfortable, The kite spot isn’t too crowded which makes the holidays more relaxing. When the tide is low they takes us to the deep part of the lagoon by tractor. They have a safety boat to rescue in case of need. The staff is very friendly and the food was surprisingly good.

It was a bit cumbersome to get drinkable water in the room given the tap water is not drinkable.

Great new hotel to Dakhla. There were 3 of us from the UK at the hotel for a week to Kite & the staff and the facilities couldn't be better. Great, large clean rooms overlooking the lagoon. The food was amazing with mainly buffet lunches and dinner. Prices for drinks at the bar are a little on the high side - but that's no different from any of the resorts we've stayed at previously. It's over the far side of the lagoon and we were the only kiters staying at Paraiso, so it was fantastic to have the space and not feel too crowded on the water with a short tractor ride out to the lagoon at low tide. Absolutely loved our time here & will be booking again next year, thanks!
