The staff was very accommodating! Owner gave us His own wine glasses to use during our stay. Staff was quick with blankets, towels ect. whenever we needed something. Rooms are very spacious where we stayed. Breakfast was very basic packaged food items, like box cereal, wrapped danish and pies, yogurt, banana and clementines.

TV was small, guessing 32". You have satellite channels, but the remote wasn't a Dish remote, so hard to see what to watch.

Great location and within proximity to the main roads, located opposite grocery, restaurants and shops. Was clean upon entry and staff were helpful and great for a night or a couple nights overlay.

Nothing bad to say about the property but the TV, quality was great in terms of resolution but in terms of navigation we couldn’t access the TV guide so we had to manually change the channel and figure out what we were watching based on the content but it all works.

The location is great, close to freeways and downtown. The coffee is great, food is decent for a continental breakfast. We have stayed a total of 6 nights here and will stay again. The staff is friendly, its quiet and peaceful.

Honestly, the air wasn't working in the 1st room we had. Within 2 mins we had a new room. I have no complaints 😌

Everything was good, location was perfect!

There was a family who had rooms on both sides of us and they were running back and forth banging on walls and slamming the doors screaming till 12pm, wish we could have not been placed in the middle of them.

Beautiful property and spacious room with desk, dining table, fridge, coffee maker and microwave. You don't usually get all that for such a good price! Especially loved the landscaping and smell of jasmine in the air.

Staff was good but short of friendly.

Everybody a very friendly even housekeeping this is a go-to place and the pool is so nice you almost can't see it

I love the diving board on the pool and the jacuzzi tub hardly anybody is using it if you close your eyes you can imagine where it is the water is so clean I loved every minute of it.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked a little too well as the room was freezing. Breakfast was continental so nothing special but nice to have. Good location right off of the freeway and on a major road. Lots of good restaurants just down Castro Valley.

Furnishings were a little dated and the shower had a regular shower curtain rather than one that looped out so it didn't touch you while you were in the shower.

Great price. We only stayed as a night after an international flight and were continuing on to the mountains, so it was perfect just for a night's sleep after a long plane ride.

If anyone has mobility issues, they only have stairs for upstairs, so best to request a ground floor room.

The room was very clean and perfect for what I wanted/needed. There was an amazing view from the second floor where you could see out over the valley and out to the Bay, with palm trees and greenery.

couldnt get heat to turn on and the iron heat plate needed to be cleaned.
