Overall the stay was good! The staff was pleasant and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. We stay here every time we cruise out of Galveston.

The only problem we had was a musty smell in the room. It was very strong and this seems to be an ongoing problem.

The property was very nice and clean. The room was a very decent size, I think it was a handicap room, and was very nice and comfortable. The staff I interacted with was very pleasant and helpful, even recommended a local place to have dinner.

It was a great facility, a little pricey (thought that was because we booked it the same day we stayed) but was close to Galveston where we were visiting. We paid $149 for the room here but the following night we found a room in Galveston right across from the beach for $86 which was just as nice and with the same amenities we were looking for but would have stayed there again if we didn’t find a cheaper room right across from where we were going. So if you’re visiting Galveston, check there first for a cheaper room, there was a Best Western hotel right next to the hotel we stayed at in Galveston. Only reason I don’t have any pictures is because we checked in late and thought the room was nice enough we didn’t have to take any of the room.

I was on night shift and required an early check in which I asked for when booking. Never got a response from the hotel. Went in on checking day and was greeted by a rude receptionist and told me I couldn’t check in after working a 13 hr shift. Facility was not able to give me room even though the parking lot looked empty. Was told by employee I had an attitude. We’ll try working for that long and coming to the hotel I booked for a week and them not being able to accommodate my needs. Simply ridiculous. No hospitality or common sense. I doubt they didn’t have 1 room to give me , definitely will not be booking or staying there in the future.

We had to make a last minute change to our plans, and we’re lucky enough to get the last room available. The staff was super friendly. We got a text message once we were in the room to see if we needed anything - and this was like almost 10pm! We actually did have an issue with thebtv remote, but they weee knocking on our door within 15 mins with a replacement. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. And there were lots of places to plug things in including usb ports. Everyone we encountered from management to housekeeping were extremely friendly and helpful.

Tony was excellent his hospitality was really nice overall the hotel was decent besides when you Google it it said you guys were temporary closed

What I didn't like was I asked for extra pillows and they were like we have none the night person that was there after Tony left tall black guy he was really rude unprofessional it's not like marijuana on him you can smell it lingering from the front of the front doors

The front desk guy was so nice & made us feel welcome & made sure we knew everything we needed to know , he talked to us like we was friends,the guy from 10/6/2023 that checked us in was great 😁 & because of him we would love to book again

10/8/23 our last morning, it was an older lady that was behind the desk and she wouldn't even speak ,she just looked at us ,like we didn't belong there,she made us uncomfortable, if she would've been the one checking us in we would've left .

Room was clean and comfortable. Price was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good, could use a little more variety. But other than that everything was great. Would stay here again if I travel to this area

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ok it could use a little more variety and friendlier staff. The guy who checked us in was not very friendly. The older gentleman who checked us out on the other hand was very very nice and talkative. We enjoyed speaking with him.

Our room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The linens were nice. The climate control worked well. Lots of USB ports for charging. Nice breakfast area with good complimentary food selection. Much better value for the money than staying on the island.

Check-in staff wasn't the most friendly, but definitely not rude.

Musty mildew smell in halls/bedrooms. This won’t prevent me from staying again but just heads up. It was such a great deal per night compared to beach front hotels.
