It is a “rustic” hotel, in the middle of the countryside. Ideal for those who want to relax. The views are beautiful, the street is very quiet. You can hear the birds singing in the morning and there are many hiking trails nearby.

Unfortunately, the stairs are very noisy. If you get a room close to the stairs, you will have trouble sleeping. Also, the time at which the staff organizes some things seems strange to me. Sometimes, late at night, they are moving beds and doing other activities that cause noise.

We had a lovely stay at this charming mountain hotel. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view of the mountains from our room — absolutely unforgettable! One unexpected surprise was the lack of taxi service from the nearest train station, which is about 6 kilometers away. Apparently, taxis don’t operate in the area unless you book a transfer in advance. Fortunately, two very kind Spanish men gave us a lift — we’re so grateful for their help!

The only downside was that we weren’t allowed to sit in the common areas with our own food and drinks. That was a bit disappointing, as the hotel has plenty of shared spaces where we could’ve relaxed without disturbing anyone.

Location and hospitality. As I'm on a motorcycle tour, it was the perfect place to stay with fantastic roads in the area 👌 The views are incredible, and it is in a very quiet/safe secluded area. The decor is very quaint, and the layout of the hotel is good. Staff are very friendly.

Being only English speaking, there is a slight language barrier. However, they understood enough. The food was slightly below par... grilled lamb was not good and served with undercooked french fries and disgusting mayonnaise that had been left out of the fridge for too long. Also,the starter, which was described as onion and tomato salad, came covered in canned tuna 🤣

When I first came to this hotel, I did not want to write a review because I wanted to keep this place for myself. I know that people pay attention to my reviews. Let's make it clear: this place is a gem. If you are looking for modern design, minimalist feel, and a new kind of building, this is not your place. It is shabby chic and full of soul in every bit of it. To the point that it starts feeling like home. There is a great area to watch the mountains while sitting under a tree in the hotel's garden, a swimming pool, and space to hang out. They also have a BBQ area. The place serves breakfast and dinner, and they are delicious! Around the area, there are multiple hiking trails, and if you are traveling by car, there are even more! And more than that they are dog friendly and the neighbours have horses. It is my secret getaway from Barcelona every now and then, and I am sharing it with you.

The view from the windows is AMAZING. The place is super rustic and cozy. It's a very small village. The rooms are nice and so is the bathroom. The host is a very chill dude and makes you feel at home as soon as you speak to him. I would on the other hand not recommend this place is you're scared of dogs. There was A LOT of them there. The host has one too and he sometimes barks at people so that was a bit spooky. Otherwise it was great. Would book again

Got barked at for no reason. I have a slight fear of dogs and it made me unable to move around the hotel calmly. Going out for a cigarette was stressful especially that the same dog that barked at me got later let out on the street without a leash. Felt uncomfortable even though the dog seemed cute at first.

Beautiful location, friendly staff and cozy hotel overall.

The road leading up to it is terrifying, and the room was very dusty with lots of dust under the beds - not good for someone sensitive to dust.

Great family owned place with several generations working together. Very friendly people always ready to help. The place is by no means new, but very cozy with its own charm. A bit of time travel and disconnect. Great nature around with multiple routes to explore. Variety of decent food at the restaurant. Cleaning is way better than in most hotels up to the 5* level we’ve been in recent years.

If you are without a car location can be on the challenging side, but the hotel is ready to help and there’s a (or rather the, because it’s one person) taxi in Ribes.

The views from the room are fantastic. Very clean. Friendly staff. Very comfortable room. Really nice interior, wood paneling etc. Nicely decorated. Stunning location, out in the wilds a bit. Very quiet.

Nothing to dislike

The place is located on the countryside of the catalan Pyrenees and was a beautiful overnight stop on my Enduro trip across the mountains. I was able to park my motorbike directly in the garage underneath the hotel. I really liked the rustical and warm interiour design of the hotel. The restaurant is also highly reccomended. It has big windows with a lovely view into the mountains and offers a variety of tasty catalan meals. The staff is very friendly and eager to help in any way even you're only speaking a little spanish.

Beautiful old chalet with gorgeous view of the valley. Confortable and a great breakfast to start thee day. Lots of hikes starting from the chalet. Rooms are simple and clean. Swimming pool with a view
