Whenever I go to Melaka, Holiday Inn will be my first choice.

I think Holiday Inn need to refurbish their rooms (same green carpet being used since early 2012) and improve their buffet breakfast. They used to have very good buffet breakfast spread but now things have changed.I observed the bread is not fresh bread.variety of dishes have reduced.

We did a booking absolutely unplanned, because after a couple hours in Melaka we made a decision to stay for a night. So we are family of 3 (2 adults and kid 5yo)we were looking for a hotel with pool and breakfast, close to the city center. Luckily the hotel had enough rooms and we did a booking same day as check in . The room was nice , the hotel pool with infinity view, the breakfast was full of choice! We had a good experience.

We didn’t like a long queue during a check in, we were waiting about 30 minutes because only one manager supported guests. And we didn’t like the way from the city center to the hotel, it’s not convenient to pedestrians at all.

Very strategic location. Comfortable stay. Attentive staff. Ordered vegetarian fried rice for dinner it was nice.

Placed in a room with the straits view but there's an entertainment centre that operates throughout the night. Loud booming sounds. No shower curtain was installed. The shower knob was faulty. The guy who came to fix the shower knob anticipated my needs which was good but the guy who installed my shower curtains asked me unnecessary questions about where i am from, my origin etc and continued asking personal questions to find out about me. This is unprofessional and unnecessary. Mind you this was at 10.45pm!

The room was clean and quiet and we could see the hotel is making effort to improve their housekeeping services.

We checked in by 3pm and the rooms were not ready and we were given only one room to wait for the next room to be ready. Fortunately, the front desk called and told us they changed our rooms to a higher floor and we were delighted. The next issue probably does not concern the hotel but we feel that the hotel could speak to the Land Authority dept to consider building an overhead bridge near the hotel to Mahkota Parade as it is dangerous to jaywalk the road to reach Mahkota as the traffic is busy most of the time.

Room is very clean, bedsheet and towel smells great which the most important to me. Hotel breakfast spread has wide selection of choice, local cuisine was good. Located at quite corner of the busy Melaka central, relax and chill environment

The room doesn’t not have good soundproof, can hear people chatting on the corridor from the room, but acceptable as it’s not happening at the midnight during our stay.

Location is excellent, room was comfortable and okay, breakfast was nice, western food could be improved a bit (more different kind of bred).

Card reader was not working 2 times (battery empty?) - was maintained immediately, Water tap was broken 2 times, 1 time complete flooding in the bathroom, washbag with content completely flooded. Maintenance works were done, but topics solved (in both cases) after the second time.

The room standard size is spacious, not cramped. Bed, toilet are cleaned. The range of Dove toiletries are very good. The lifts, swimming pool are not very crowded hence rather enjoying atmosphere. The Essence Kitchen is very spacious and nearby toilets are clean and have sufficient cubicles.

The buffet has many selections however many of the dishes are not appetizing, flavorless and bland especially at the noodle counter. Buffet lunch and dinner are only available during weekends but should also made available during holidays, which are not on weekends. This would give more convenience to the guests.

Room is big and clean.. easy parking at the hotel premise especially for motorbike. There are EV charging lot too. Breakfast is well spread.. there is a clean swimming pool and a spa too. This is my 5 time stay at Holiday Inn... the staff are all friendly and service is superb... there also function hall that can accomodate wedding and birthday party... there are live band too.... but sorry cant tell when is the live band available and till what time. There is a bar and can watch live football match.. shopping malls and food centre can be easily find near the hotel. Just cross over the road and you can see malls, food centre and the sight seeing place such as Taming sari, rickshaw ride and walk a bit more you can enjoy the river cruise... really love staying at Holiday Inn. Thank you to all the staff at Holiday Inn for the excellent service. Will be there in Feb 2024.. 😊

- Customer service was top-notch as always. - Room was clean. - Beds were comfy&large. - Fast&early check-in Very nice and comfortable stay as usual. This time, TV had bad reception, reported it to front desk and technician came within less than 5 minutes, impressive. Will definitely be back again.😁

- Room's tap was faulty. Aerator was missing, resulting in water spraying everywhere. Room 1602 - Shower's water pressure was slightly weak. Though still usable. - Breakfast could use a little more variety. - Unrelated but still waiting for a traffic light/pedestrian crossing to be built across the small highway since many years ago...😅

Breakfast - so many choices and a lot of food variety. Room very nice and clean. Location - Good location and the nice view especially when we get high floor,

Inconvenience for guests who like to walk around near the shop houses, to the near malls (eg. Mahkota Parade) need to cross the highway. very dangerous. We need to think for our safety first. I like to suggest the hotel management to build overhead bridge or underpass for guests.
