We loved this accommodation. Such a brilliant oasis in Ciudad del Este. The room was super large, the food was brilliant (ate 3x meals a day here) and the staff were super friendly. The staff were so attentive and really great with our daughter. We really enjoyed staying here.

This is my standard destination when I am in CdE and not necessarily for shopping but rather as a last hop from Asuncion to Brazil. It is a perfect place to hang out for a day or two to relax, because its amenities are superb. I am a pool fanatic, and the pool is really nice here. If you wonder if CoViD means the end of all fun and relaxation, it was open and nice when I was there in December of 2020. Perhaps that sauna and steam bath was closed because of it. Despite being somewhat far from the commercial center which is what draws most people to CdE there is some good points about the location. Firstly, if you come by bus from anywhere inland Paraguay, e.g., typically Asuncion) then the first stop in CdE is at the km-4 ("quilometro cuatro") getting off the bus here shaves the last 15 minutes off your bus ride and you can walk to the hotel with ease, so it saves you the hassles of taxi negotiations. The bus terminal is way far out and inconvenient and it won't get you any closer to the centro than here at km-4. If your interest in the CdE shopping centro is not your primary focus, you can easily take the normal city bus that runs all the time and costs pennies. If you're worried that you won't have access to essentials at this location: do not fret, there is a major supermarket right at the km-4 intersection on your side of the highway, walking distance. There is also a Brazilian type rodizio churrasco restaurant, all you can eat for Gs. 45,000, on the other side of the highway, and yes, you can cross that highway on foot if you are "street smart" (literally in this case) or you take a pedestrian overpass that's not too far away. PS: I don't know why this review page is asking me for the quality of the "paid WiFi", we do not pay extra for WiFi here and it is good reception in all areas of the Hotel, including around the pool.

I know what I get here and like it. You might want to make sure your room has a window if you want one, not all rooms do. If you hang out on the pool all day you might not need a window.
