The location of the hotel is very convenient, in the city center of Wels, with free parking within their own garage. The rooms are clean and the restaurant serves good food with a great atmosphere within the biergarten. The breakfast is good and has enough varieties. The entire hotel is pet-friendly, which is great, but you have to pay an additional €20 fee for your pet.

The check in process was not so smooth. We got an apartment in the new building to which we received a key to the main entrance that did not work. We had to call the front desk receptionist twice in order to help us 1. find the building (because the instructions were not clear) and 2. open the door.

Breakfast was fine, there was a basic choice of everything, so I guess every taste should be satisfied (unless you have sensitivities for certain products, in this case you should get in touch with the kitchen ahead of time), the coffee was even very good. The entrance to the hotel area looked a bit old fashioned and and out of time, but then the rooms again were in perfect condition, clean and nice. The location is alright - it wasn't really possible to sleep with an open window, as my room was facing the street, but probably other rooms facing towards the inner yard are calmer.

Maybe only the street in front of the window. But that's totally manageable. Therefore you have a hotel downtown, that's the trade off.

Great location in the city center, free parking only for guests, confortable and modern rooms, nice and helpfull employees. The breakfast is not a premium one but just enough to start your day. On the other side the garden, the a la carte food and the BEER /BIR / BERRA / BEREA is fantastic! :)

The underground parking is suitable mostly for small cars. If you have an SUV is better to park in the ground parking near the garden (this parking is also accesible only by guests).

The room was large enough, we did not expect that. The beds were super comfortable. Because we stayed in the hotel in February, we could not complain about the absence of an air conditioner (which may be a problem in summer though). It was really quiet in the room at night with the windows closed despite the pub below open till midnight (again, this may be a problem in summer, especially for those whose who prefer to go to bed early). The receptionist was very friendly and polite. The breakfast was very good and tasty, with a lot of options. Finally, the hotel has a nicely styled interior with lots of wooden elements.

Just a couple of minor things. The filling between tiles in the bathroom and toilet seat need replacement. The door to the room could not be closed tight enough so that the noises from the hallway could easily disturb the guests at night or in the evening.

Nice little hotel with a lovely beer garden. It was great to have free parking and the reception staff have arranged for us to be able to check in late, that was very much appreciated.

Breakfast wasn't as good as I expected based on the other reviews. It was nice, but quite limited options and nothing special, really.

Almost everything was OK. I got the room I asked for, the breakfast was OK, I got correct directions. Next year, I would be happy to book an overnight stay. This is a good hotel.

I couldn't give the maximum rating for the front desk staff (I rated the other categories at max), because it would have been useful to have a systematic way of writing back emails. This is the only thing to improve.

The property has a character. Old building but nicely refurbished. Despite the beer garden and the main road looking windows it was quite at night. Because of the two locked door ( room and corridor door), we felt safe.

The dining area was a bit shabby. But at the end of the day it served its purpose.

I would like to tell you what my daughter said: 'I have never slept in such a comfortable bed.' The parking is nice, the location is in the center of town, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff is kind.

It was a little hot because there was no air conditioner, but the fan was helpful.

I have never been to a hotel more ofthen than this one. It is the best choice in Wels just because it's very clean, the location is central, the breakfast is delicious (you can't ask for more) and the stuff is nice. There is also a restaurant and a big terrace in case you want to eat lunch or dinner there. Always very busy, you need a reservation before you go. 😉

I think they need another person to manage the reception and to serve breakfast. They do both, and I think it's too much for one person.

Easy check-in with helpful parking instructions by email. We had a good night in comfortable beds. The tap water tasted so clean and we had a nice walk at the river Traun not far away from the hotel.

Everything was just fine.
