The breakfast buffet was a bit pricy, but worth it if you are pressed for time or want to get your money's worth :) The location is great and we were able to find free street parking over the night. The hotel also offers underground parking if need be. The old city center is within walking distance (even though from the map it didn't feel like it was). So we were able to explore the town even though it was just an overnight stop on a road trip for us.

Everything was great, but the wifi was slow and it would not work for anything video. That was a huge bummer for us! If they had good internet this would have easily been a 10/10 hotel. The room was a bit cramped, but the bathroom was huge. I guess that's the disadvantage of really old constructions. It's by no means a deal breaker, but it might be useful to know for somebody who needs larger spaces.

Spacious room, clean, nicely designed, great location

I had a mansarde room. The VELUX windows are not the best soundproofed, so I could hear quite a bit of noise from the outside. In the bathroom, the shower would benefit from an adjustable height poll for the shower head, and it would be nice if the towels didn't have holes. Some tea would be appreciated, not only coffee.

We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to the railway station and the vast number of very positive reviews it had received on booking.com. Our experiences there exceeded expectation. This family owned and operated hotel is less than 5 mins walk from the platforms and offers a calm, welcoming and very appealing stopover in this part of town. It’s also remarkably quiet given its a stone’s throw from the station. Our room was neat and attractive; scrupulously clean and very well presented. The staff were great; very helpful and friendly, with a good grasp of English. The hotel’s fish restaurant is arguably the best place to eat in town. The menu and wine list showcase many quality local producers as well as a handful from Croatia, the former homeland of the hotel owners and its employees.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We would make this hotel our first choice if ever we were to return to Wels.

The hotel is right next to a train station, which was very convenient for us. The area may seem noisy, but it's not at all. We had a good night's sleep, no traffic noise. Our room was quiet, clean, and cute, and the bed was comfortable. Super friendly staff. It was an excellent stay, actually.

The staff was extra helpful, we checked in a little early, our room was clean and modern, we loved being so close to train station, yet we could be in town in a few easy steps. It was surprisingly quiet even though close to station. Food options were super close by.

Escellent location and friendly staff, very comfortable room and convenient facilities. Quiet and cosy accommodation. The restaurant in the hotel serves very good food...for a price. Fine breakfast.

The staff is great and the breakfast is very good. For us the location was very convenient in the center next to the train station. Just a very nice hotel.

We booked the 'cheapest' room and although it was comfortable and even had electric blinds for the window it was very small. The bathroom was similarly tiny, but very clean, modern and functional.

Very clean, comfortable rooms, helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, efficient wifi, very good fish restaurant "Adria".

I had some issues with the heating system of my room.

Friendliness of staff. Location good - very handy for Wels station - a super location for travel by rail to anywhere in Austria. Restaurant also called Adria in separate ownership but obviously a top restaurant for the district- very good
