The Castle is really beautiful and the location very quite. The whole hotel was very clean. Very good breakfast with scrambled eggs and regional cheese and ham… The housekeeping and the service at breakfast were also very good. The food in the restaurant was tasty - it would be nice to make the room a bit more comfortable with some candles and heat, because the impression as also the temperature were in october a bit cold.

The spa is with 40 €/person/day way to expensive. The heat in the room didn‘t work in october and it was a bit cold. The bed was not comfy in the Junior Suite and a light was broken - it hasn‘t been repared until we left, altought we mentioned it at the reception.

Wonderful location with the mountains as a backdrop. Our upgraded room in the turret was delightful and full of character with the added addition of breathtaking views. Everything super clean. The spa was spacious with excellent facilities in wooden beamed cantina. Considering we stayed out of season the castle offered the same high standard, maintaining a good selection at breakfast and full menu in the evening. The staff were charming, efficient and friendly.

A tiny suggestion for this magnificent castle which has been tastefully restructured recently would be be dome hooks in the bathroom!!

A beautiful property in a beautiful location. The mix of traditional (castle, lounge, artifacts), with the modernity of the spa and pool made it a great choice that did not have us needing anything else than what was on offer. The staff were great too. All very attentive and friendly.

The room was fairly small although comfortable. Fresh water in the fridge every day would have been a nice addition.

We booked the room with the tower and it is a really special experience. We could enjoy a glass of prosecco on the tower of a castle with an amazing view, all by ourselves. Nice! The castle is beautiful and it is a great escape.

The dinner was outside but the temperature was too low to enjoy (17-18°C). We had to eat with jackets on but since it was September we didn't have clothes that was warm enough to feel really ok.

The location, architecture, the food, Bruno the dog and the donkey! Everything about out stay was absolutely great! The staff was super friendly and room was great as well. Our dog was super happy too.

The road that goes to the castle is a gravel road and it's very narrow for 2 cars with no guard rail on one side and a deep water gutter on the other. A little scary

Magical Place with a great restaurant and friendly staff. The hotel is located 15 min away from Gubbio and 30 min away from Perugia. We were lucky enough to get a nice room with a lot of space.

Bed could be more comfortable and TV with more channels.

Some street lights and more boards added on the roads to reach the hotel will make a good guide way to the hotel... i unfortuantely came late night around 11PM and i felt like lost due to darkness

Lovely castle. Nice and warm. Very friendly staff.

Nicely decorated and well maintained castle, full of charm , in the middle of nature, nice garden and view of the hills around. Room was spacious and warm. The Italian breakfast was very good , with cakes and cappuccino.(some salty option was also available). We also got dinner there and was one if the best ones from our trip in Umbria. All the food was delicious and resonably priced. The staff was friendly , very professional, and patient as we were the only ones having dinner that evening . Would have liked to have more time to explore the soroundings , ther was a 2 km walk nearby to a lake.
