Rossmund Lodge is a bit out of the “hustle and bustle” of Swakopmund and that makes it the perfect spot to reach everything and then return to relaxing in the quiet of the natural surroundings and beauty of a golf course with spring boks in the middle of the desert! We booked in February and there were some mistake on the website regarding a washer being present in the room… The mistake was rectified since then but we didn’t know and Andrea and Anna - the 2 AWESOME receptionists helped me by doing my washing for me… WOW!

Unfortunately they struggled with some ants trying to invade! Hopefully it’s sorted soon! ;-)

I had an amazing stay at Rossmund - the room was spacious and clean. Given the colder weather at night, the room was arm enough and beddings sufficient. The bed was comfortable and the water in the bathroom was nicely hot. It's also nicely quiet at Rossmund. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout my stay.

My room didn't have Wi-Fi & a microwave, but I was informed before checking in.

The rooms are spacious and have great views The bedding was luxurious. Springbok roam outside your door. The sun always shine on Rossumund, hence a better place to stay than in town. The free shuttle allowed me to nip in and out of town. The swimming pool area is beautiful.

A few small touches here another and a bit of maintenance will make it fir for a queen. Coffee facilities in the room can be better, with French press and ground coffee will be great.

As Swakopmund was very crowded, it was good to be a little way out of town (but not inconveniently so). A great oasis in the desert and a haven on a long road trip.

Everything was just what we needed - especially the lovely pool.

The staff and management very pleasant special shout out to the manager and Queen in the dining hall 🥰 They accommodated all our needs and responded promptly to concerns. Also Ben was great even cleaned our bus.

Everything was great. No complaints due to their quick response.

The place is beautiful, the staff is very friendly, and the service is great. I enjoyed my stay.

The only issue I had was the type of TV in the room but overall I enjoyed my stay.

The location and how accommodating and friendly the staff is. Shout out to manager Andrea and Queen in the kitchen they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.

The appliances need to be upgraded. But I saw some rooms they have already started.

Unfortunately it rained during our stay so our room was leaking! But the following day we were moved to another room!

amazing location, an oasis in the dessert, with beautiful green trees and lawn and a really nice pool. great to have WiFi in the room. the staff even arranged a microwave for us as we have a baby. the included breakfast was really delicious too.

The pool was a bit low and the baby pool was empty, apparently the borehole pump was broken. aircon in the room would be nice although the fan was good enough. due to Covid the Lodge was observed to be understaffed, hopefully as things change they can employ more people to take pressure off the current staff.

I love my room, the view the resort was quiet and a breath of fresh air.

No microwave, such an inconvenience.
