We had an amazing stay at Basecamp! We were passing through town and stayed the night. Arrival was smooth, the suite was clean and had everything we needed. I wanted to make a special shoutout to the property manager. I though I had lost an item in the room and he helped me try to track it down. Then, when my car battery died, he offered to come from the next town over to give me a jump (which I, thankfully, didn't end up needing). Great place and great people!

Good location, view of the mountains directly across the street, get to breakfast early and you can get a table with a picture window to take it all in. Breakfast was good, good variety, well staffed to keep coffee and food topped up - this was a busy place - almost fully booked and it wasn't quite peak season, hence the price, worth a bit extra based on what I could see of some of the other "cheaper" places in town (small town).
The room was smallish with two queen sized beds, the bathroom was narrow, renovations were done not too long ago, but I found peeling wall paper in high wear areas. This place gets a lot of use, so don't expect perfection.

The location was beautiful, at the base of the Sierra mountains. The motel was right on the road, but it was quiet, clean and we had a little cabin which was adorable. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, and a fridge and microwave in the bathroom.
We were expecting breakfast, and unfortunately there was not only no breakfast at the facility, but also none in town. It had said that it was served during hiking season, but I guess Memorial Day weekend is not hiking season. It was not a cheap stay, so that was a bit of a bummer.

Doug, Lauralyn, and Emmaleigh were wonderful hosts. They were all very friendly and helpful. Doug recommended some great hikes, which was a challenge because many of the trailheads were still closed due to the record snowfall in the Sierras this winter. The Mt Williamson Motel and Basecamp does an amazing job supporting the hiking community in the Eastern Sierras. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Sooo cute!!! Very cozy and clean-we had the room with the kitchenette and were here for a weekend getaway and visit to Manzanar National Historic Site. Very cold outside, but heater had been left on so when we arrived it was welcoming and warm inside. Owners are on-site, available and ready to help with anything! lovely trip overall. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.
Just an FYI: the hotel is on the 395 and you do hear a lot of traffic. It did die down during the night though.

The motel was very homey and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, the towels were fluffy, there were flannel sheets on the bed, and an interesting coffee-making system that brewed strong coffee. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Such a sweet little honey vibe! Loved everything!!! Full kitchen and bath tub!! Only thing was there is a slow leak out of the tub, you need on of those rubber rings, I usually travel with one but forgot it! Other than that 5 stars!!!!!! Thank you we will be back! 🙏🙏🙏
Nothing!

This was my second stay and I’ll be back again. It’s very clean and comfortable. Each little cabin is unique. The owners are helpful and friendly, as well. I didn’t have time to stay for breakfast, but I’ll do that next time. I’m sure it’s delicious.
There is nothing to dislike here.

The location is great, we were traveling with two dogs and it was perfect place to stop for the day so the girls didn't have to be in the car all day.
I couldn't figure out how to turn off the outdoor holiday lights, I am a light sleeper and it would have been better for me to have the window area dark rather than lit up. I am sure this is a seasonal issue.

Nice clean room, great to park right in front.
#2 was pretty close to the highway, trucks were noisy in the am (not really a problem as we're up early anyway :-)
