The location of the hotel was good, only 10 minute walk from Hachioji station and all the surrounding shops in the area. A lot of delicious food nearby in that direction, too. Friendly, helpful staff who assisted me a few times when I had questions about the hotel and area. The room was comfortable as well, but pretty small.

The stairs in front of the hotel to get to the entrance are not the best when you're carrying luggage. The room was also very small compared to others. There are no coin washing machines at this hotel, which I was surprised to find out having stayed at other Apa hotels, which always have them. You have to travel to a nearby laundromat to do washing.

I liked the clean fluffy bedsheets, and the readily available shampoo and conditioner. It's close to the train station, so travel was easy.

I booked a no smoking room, but the room did smell distinctly of smoke. This may be due to it not being no smoking in the past. Also, the only microwave is on a completely separate floor.
