The Sunrise Village Residence is a beautiful and modern property that has clearly been renovated with care. Its location is excellent, offering easy access to the main attractions of Skopelos. The overall ambiance of the place is lovely, and we appreciated the clean and well-maintained grounds.

However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The beds for the children were made from standard sofas (not sofa beds), and unfortunately, they were quite small and uncomfortable for sleeping. Another downside was the lack of blinds or shutters in the windows, which meant that by 6 AM, the rooms were flooded with light, making it difficult to sleep in. Lastly, it was a pity that there was no bar service by the pool. It would have been nice to enjoy a drink or a snack while relaxing in such a beautiful setting.

The room was lovely, location was great just a short walk to the main town and there are some lovely tavernas on the way. There is a beach right across the street or you can catch a bus from the town to the other side of the island. The room decoration was gorgeous, really modern and the staff were lovely, very helpful. There is a pool and although the pictures are a little deceiving there was always space to stay for a little. Guests seemed to consider others and stay for a couple of hours then leave. So very nice. Air conditioning is both rooms.

The bathroom, although gorgeous, needs frosted glass all the way to the top. With two teenage boys it wasn’t the best design as they could peer over. Slight smell from the AIr conditioner when on. If you do catch the bus from the port to the other beaches you need cash. Cards not accepted. Although you can exchange cash from the kiosk across the road there is a €3 charge for this. Each way is around €3.40, concessions for 6 years and below.

The hotel was a lovely 10 minute walk along the beautiful beach and there were restaurants and a supermarket along that route. The room was really large a beautifully designed - it had all the amenities we needed and expected, including a smart TV, which was a lovely bonus! The pool was perfect to lounge at at the beach was only across the street!

Not much to complain about - it might have been nicer to be able to buy some things food-wise on site as the supermarket was a little bit further down the road. Additionally, the aircon was directly above the sink so it was freezing when you were brushing teeth or standing at the sink but really not a big deal

The decor is lovely, we had a room overlooking the pool with a spacious balcony. Clean room and it was nice to have a fridge in the room. Skopelos is a quiet area, would be perfect to disconnect. Overall if returning to Skopelos I’d stay again at Sunrise village hotel apartments.

The bathroom being made of glass with only an opaque strip in the middle was not ideal as it gave limited privacy in the bathroom. Also the bathroom window had no shutter so when the light came in through it in the morning, the whole room lit up very bright with the glass walls of the bathroom reflecting the light. This made it hard to not wake up early.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location. The room is well equipped, beautifully decorated and clean. Beautiful view of the sea and the harbour. The garden is well kept and beautiful, the pool water is nice and clean. The staff is helpful and friendly!

There was no such thing. Maybe that there is no drapery, so the room is bright in the morning. If you want to sleep late you have to manage the sweeping. We solved it with the bedspread :)

Staff were so friendly and helpful responding brilliantly to a couple of requests we had. The view from our balcony onto Skopelos town was incredible, lots of hours sitting there and soaking it all in. Great location, easy walk to the town and port. Lovely pool with plenty of loungers, everywhere exceptionally clean. The room was very well equipped and functional, it was a little tired but it didn’t bother us as we didn’t spend much time in the room apart from the balcony, and I think the condition of the room is reflected in the price that we found good value. Car park easy to use if full there is plenty of parking on the street.

Pillows could have been a little softer.

Great apartment but we paid extra to not have a basement apartment- not clear when booking and I felt claustrophobic in those ones. Very nice and newly renovated- brilliant pool and lovely staff

I found the mattresses very hard but the others were perfectly happy. Spare bed is quite short so best for short adult or child. Nothing bad at all really

Comfortable room. A 10 minute flat walk along the water to town/port. The decor is welcoming. Staff is very nice. Vasiliki and Irini were very nice and helpful. I would stay here again

I wish there was an option for a large single mattress instead of 2 single sized mattresses pushed together. The crevice where the mattresses meet was uncomfortable. But that is my only complaint

Staff was very helpful! Pool area is very nice, and we had amazing view from our balcony. AC worked very well. Relatively short walk to town although with luggage I’d hire a taxi to and from the port.

There was no dead bolt lock on the door, so we did not like that. Our room (especially the shower is in dire need of an upgrade. But I understand this is in the plans. Our friends’ room had been renovated recently and was very nice!

It was a lovely room, in a great location. The balcony view was great with comfortable seating. The decor of the room was very tasteful.

Could have had more cooking equipment in the room as only got given a toastie maker. The safe in the room also didn’t work.
