We stayed at this hotel when we just needed somewhere to stay for the night. We booked really late in the evening the very same day but everything with the checking in went very smooth and the staff were very friendly. The private garage was perfect as we could leave most of our bags in the car. The family room was spacious and perfect for our needs. Great breakfast with a good selection of fruit, bread, cakes and hot dishes. Very family friendly hotel. Our children loved the free bars of chocolate!

No kettle in the room but a coffee machine but there were

This is by far the best place we stayed during our trip through Europe. We stayed in places twice as expensive that would deliver way less. Every room has a fridge, a bathtub with shower option, coffee maker in the room. There is unlimited free coffee and other hot drinks downstairs. The entire place is very clean, rooms are tidy. It gives a new vibe everywhere. Staff are very friendly and proactively tries to ascertain your need. Unheard of in this price range. Rooms are light. Windows to the front give a good views if eg "Strahlenburg" or the "Schriesheim Steinbruch". Ladenburg Altstadt is walkable or a 5min car ride if you're lazy like me. Up the street is a large bakery that is open most days. It's quiet here and there is ample and free parking. A supermarket rigjt next door sums it up. 11/10 Been back twice. Will come back again.

Absolutely no complaints. Best value for money I've had in the last 5 years of travel. Not just in Germany.

We were upgraded to a suite with air-conditioning instead of a normal room which was very welcome as it was 40 degrees. We had a double bed, in one room with a TV and a second room with sofa and armchair and desk and chair with a fridge and second TV. The bathroom had a bath and shower, toilet and sink with hairdryer. There was also a wardrobe. Good WiFi . There was a free car park (there is also an underground car park for which there is a charge). There was a good breakfast with scrambled eggs,hard boiled eggs,bacon,sausage,frikadelle, cheese,ham, cucumber,tomato , rolls, butter, yoghurts,fruit salad, coffee, teas and juices. Coffee making facilities in the room and a better coffee machine downstairs in the foyer. There was also a vending machine with drinks and snacks.

Although there was supposed to be a restaurant it was closed due to staff shortages. We ended up buying food from the Penny Market supermarket for dinner. There was also an empty liquid soap container so we had to get a new bottle from reception for our room. The hotel had signs saying they were currently renovating.

Super friendly staff! From the first moment to the last goodby they did their very best to make you feel at home and to help you with any request you might have. Great breakfast with a rich buffet, free parking outside, reasonably priced underground parking and a good location right between Heidelberg and Mannheim. In walking distance to Ladenburg, a nice little township with many well maintained roman historic buildings and flair. The hotel room was spacious, the bathroom well equipped. The assortment of coffee and tee available in the room was excellent. There was the possibility to even use a sauna and a gym without extra cost.

The only really relevant drawback that prevents me from giving highest mark for the facility is the fact that our room did not have power outlets of any sort next to the bed. We were in the hotel together with two other couples. There was one power outlet in on of their rooms, the other one also did not have any. In our case also one side of the bed did not feature a bedside table. Of course you can charge your mobile on the working desk but it's no real alternative if you want to use your mobile in bed. May be better on getting you awake fast this way though as you got to jump out of bed in order to stop the alarm. :O)

It was great to be able to park directly outside the hotel. There are about 35 spaces outside and we arrived early. We brought our bikes and were also able to park them in the underground parking area part of the time. We were there in early August and the air-conditioning was a reason to choose this hotel. It was a huge relief on a very hot day. Everything was clean and efficient. We were pleased to have a kettle with coffee and tea in the room, as well as a bath. Having a few English channels on the television was a bonus. The staff were helpful and competent. I noticed one in conversation with a deaf guest. She enunciated her words clearly so he could lip-read and made every effort to render assistance. The hotel's car park filled while we were there, but the corridor was quiet and we were not disturbed - even on a Friday night. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel.

We liked everything. The hotel is a 5-10 minute cycle ride from the very pretty old town and the ride along the river bank was very pleasant. It might be a long walk for older guests, though. We opted for the room only rate so I can't comment on the breakfast. We would rather have a pay as you go breakfast than a buffet - too tempting to over-indulge.

I asked for twin beds (well separated) and an ergonomic pillow. These were ready before we arrived. My gluten free and dairy free diet was easily met at breakfast and as long as I asked the night before and informed reception the time we needed to take breakfast to leave on time, the bread was defrosted and baked ready for me in the morning. I did not have to wait as can often occur. Breakfast selection is amazing as is the selection of tea. Indeed boiling water is provided, which met our need for a good cup of tea over breakfast, and the kettle in the room meant we could also make a cuppa when we arrived in the afternoon. The beds are comfortable, the room was quiet, check in and check out was seamless. We always stay here when we are passing, for a comfortable, reliable and restful nights sleep. Weekday evenings there is a bar open and a buffet available of prepared hot dishes and a range of salads - priced according to the quantity eaten, so one can have a small snack or a main meal for a reasonable price. One can eat indoors or out as there is a patio in the inner yard connected to the restaurant. On weekends there are a number of good restaurants open in the town center which is within walking distance. There is a Pennymarkt next door, open until 9pm in the week, handy to provide for the trip on the following day. The Jet service station on the roundabout nearby offers a good price for Diesel when topping up the car. I like to walk around the block behind the hotel, along the river to the old town and back before bed. A very pleasant evening stroll after a days drive. I understand that there is also a sauna however we have not used it ourselves.

The toilets are in the basement and there are no signs to indicate where to find them. I had to ask a member of staff who also had to ask someone else where they were.

Food in the restaurant was really good and every employees were helpful and talking in english

Room too hot at night (I put the airconditionning at the lowest to prevent being sick) I requested on the tablet in the room that there be no cleaning of the room for 2 nights for environmental reasons, but they cleaned the room anyway.

Spacious room, comfortable beds, air conditioning was working well, quiet, easy reachable from the motorway and parking available.

Nothing as such, but would have been nice to have the restaurant open for an evening meal. Helpful advice was given on where to go for a meal so not too much of an inconvenience.

We liked our room, everything was clean :) Bed was comfortable. The hotel itself is stylishly furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Unfortunately the parking situation is very difficult as the parking available is always extremely full. In addition, I was disappointed with breakfast as there were barely any vegan options. For a hotel of this size and caliber a vegan joghurt or a vegan cheese-alternative would be an easy addition to satisfy vegans and do something for the planet.

We are devoted Leonardo clients and always stay here when in Ladenburgh. The hotel is well rrun, and the rooms very nice. This time we had a junior suite that wa very spacious. The bar has an exceotional collection of good whiskeys. Parking and access is easy and better than being directly in Town. Great hotel!
