I've been using this platform for several years, but this is the first time I’ve felt compelled to give a perfect 10. Anything less would be deeply unfair.The location—right across from Bran Castle—is unbeatable. The building itself is new, elegant, and decorated with exquisite taste and meticulous attention to detail. At the back, there’s a charming garden with a peaceful terrace, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. The restaurant is excellent, and we were served the best breakfast we had during our entire stay in Romania—complete, fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. But what truly sets this place apart is the hospitality. The staff are exceptional: warm, attentive, genuinely friendly, and perfectly fluent in English. They made us feel truly welcome, as if we were staying with friends. As I said on the morning we left, we’ll never forget this place—or the wonderful people who made our stay so special. We’ll recommend it wholeheartedly to all our friends, and here is our recommendation for everyone else as well. A heartfelt thank you and a big hug to the entire team at Conacul Törzburg—you made our trip unforgettable!

We enjoyed our stay at Conacul Torsburg Hotel very much. At the arrival we were greeted by the owner Raluca, without whom we would be completely lost. She called us a cab to go where we needed to go and also helped us when we called her later to arrange another transportation. She and her husband Mustafa were both very polite and ready to help. The hotel was clean, plenty of toiletries with a great smell by the brand Rituals, comfortable bed, clean shower, I had a delicious soup and a special local bread with cheese at the restaurant downstairs. The receptionist gentlemen was also very nice and helpful. Really, there is a special atmosphere in this magical place with the great view on the Dracula Chateau. If we decide to come back one day, we will definitely stay there again.

Everything was very good

The location and the view were amazing. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is modern, and the shower/bathroom was lovely. The Castle pics were genuinely from our bedroom window. That's how close you'll be staying here.

Our stay was for a week, I gather most people only "pass through" for a few nights. That is why I guess the breakfast was extremely basic and exactly the same each day. We were offered cereal about 4 days in, but again, very bland. Romanian people are quite "guarded." No smiles or eye contact, that's just the way they are (a local told me this). The owner and his wife and the cleaners were very pleasant, but a couple of the staff were just blank. The one girl they had working there was lovely (I've included her pick, hope she doesn't mind). Could do with putting regular black tea sachets in the room, not fruity ones.

Amazing location, friendly and accommodating staff and beautiful property. Our room was one floor up with a direct castle view. The bed and bedding were very comfy. The towels were a great size, weight and texture. The shower had great water pressure and room in it. Plenty of toiletries were provided as well. The breakfast included is delicious and had plenty of cheese, veggies, meats, breads, fruits, butter, olives, water, juice, choice of coffee and tea and an egg option. The restaurant has a great diverse lunch and dinner menu and everything we had for two dinners was so good. Highly recommend eating here for meals instead of going elsewhere if you are looking for delicious food and great service at great prices! There's a bunch of beautiful rescue cats on the property too to love on and enjoy. They are so sweet and we're a great addition to a wonderful stay. Looking forward to a return visit one day soon.

That we didn't know to stay here at an earlier visit to the area!

I'm not sure how else we could have arrived at Bran, but we hired a car and drove there from Bucharest airport. The hotel has its own small carpark, which was great, as other parking in Bran has to be paid for. It snowed while we were there, and the hotel owners very kindly helped us to clear the car of snow and ice. The reception and restaurant staff are very attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. We arrived very late after a mix-up with our flights, and the kitchen staff stayed on past their hours to make us a light supper, which was very much appreciated. There is a tiny park directly outside the hotel, and then a busy main road, and then Dracula's Castle, up on a very steep hill. All bedrooms have a view of the castle, which is enchanting both by day and night. The rooms we stayed in were HUGE, one had its own separate sitting room, also facing the castle.

Google assured me that it would be easy to find vegetarian food in Romania, especially during Lent. Unfortunately, this was not entirely our experience. I would encourage the hotel to experiment with a greater range of vegetarian food, and rely less heavily on cheese!

This is (probably!) the best hotel in Bran, Romania. It is at the foot of the hill on which Dracula's castle stands. The castle looms magnificently above the tiny town, and all the bedrooms have a grand-stand view of the castle. The staff could not have been any more friendly, kind or helpful - they all went above and beyond to look after us. The hotel is right in the centre of the town of Bran, very close to supermarkets, the castle, the tourist booths, and very easy to locate. The bedrooms on the first floor are very large, and have a good sized shower room en-suite. For cat-lovers, this is a paradise, as 8 cats live with the owners in a separate wing to the guest quarters, and are often to be found sunning themselves on the decking outside the back of the hotel, or napping in the garden. The room had complementary tea and coffee sachets and a kettle. Breakfasts are freshly prepared each morning and consisted of; eggs any way requested (boiled, scrambled, omelette, fried, etc), a platter of cheeses and veg, toast, a selection of jam and savoury vegetable spread, sometimes olives, once hummus, with tea or coffee.

One tiny gripe - no English breakfast tea, and no alternative milks were available at the hotel, although both could be purchased at the supermarkets nearby.

Drinks on the terrace overlooking the castle. One of the best dinners – perhaps the best - in our 12 night stay in Transylvania with moonlit views of the castle from our table. A comfortable bed and room. Very hospitable proprietor and staff. (The proprietor came out into the car park and insisted on carrying our bags on arrival. Later we found him looking after an injured and sick stray dog – what a very kind man!) Parking on site. Excellent breakfast. Two minutes' walk to the castle entrance in the morning to beat the rush. This has to be the place to stay in Bran.

So to start they did upgrade our room for my partner’s birthday but even if they hadn’t this place would be receiving top marks. It was SO comfortable (enough we asked where they bought the bed and the comforter), the toiletries smell good AND work, the view is incredible, the location is literally right across from the castle, and the owners are the NICEST people. The car park is behind the hotel and secure. The outdoor area will end up being so nice when the weather isn’t rainy as well. This ended up being our favorite place that we stayed in our trip to Romania.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Torzburg. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth, and we were greeted with a warm welcome. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast – a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day off right. The hotel’s location is perfect as well, with easy access to Bran Castle. What stood out the most was the level of service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met and provided excellent recommendations for local dining and activities. Overall, our stay at Torzburg exceeded all expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay. I can’t wait to return!

- the view from the room was superb.....going to bed and waking up to see Bran caste is a must - a lot of cats that were nice and wanted a lot of pets - breakfast is a la cart but it was plenty and good. The croissants were the best part. My mother and I would fight over them. - Beds were comfy. Big room and the view in winter time with all the Christmas light a delight .

Not a bad thing but worth to mention for old people that there are only stairs. It was a mistake on my part because I did not check for elevators, but my mom said we would have gone anyway, because it is a beautiful and luxurious place.
