The hotel is peaceful and budget friendly which was a plus. The pool was great for swimming and staying at. Note that the nearest beach is awful. The closest nice beach is Issos around 2 km from the hotel.

The AC was really old and extremely nosy. It was impossible to sleep! Have no clue why the hosts aren’t changing it. The kitchen facilities also very old. The wardrobe smelled bad. Also the way hosts welcomed us was a bit rude, or at least strange. They start sending you a form to fulfill your ferry / plane number and arrival time, right when you make the reservation, then again a few days before check in, and even after I gave all the information, when we arrived at first they had some attitude like “why the hell are you here and what do you want”… I understand, maybe it wasn’t a day, but at least don’t send these forms around.

Very nice and clean room, comfortable beds, balcony with drying rack, air conditioning, decent water pressure, clean pool, kitchenette with everything you need. Pleasant and helpful staff, special thanks to Kostas! Quick and easy check-in, communication via WhatsApp or sms. Everything you need is close by - super sandy beach, markets, restaurants, bars. Kostas' restaurant Panorama right on the beach was a very cozy place with delicious food. For morning coffee and breakfast I recommend Cosy bar. Pictures correspond to reality, Dora Pool Studios is a very good choice in Agios Georgios with good value for money.

The location is excellent. A short distance along a quiet road from Main Street. Close to restaurants, bars and supermarkets and a short walk to beach. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was comfortable and thank you to Kostas for our extended access to room on our last day.

Only a small issue. The shower in bathroom is small with a shower curtain and unfortunately not possible to keep the tiled floor dry as water sprayed everywhere. However everything else was good.

Kostas is very hospitable. The accommodation is in a great location close to the beach and all taverns and markets. Also close to the Panorama restaurant, where they have excellent service and very tasty food, and Kostas is the owner. The only thing I can suggest to the boss is to put mosquito nets in the rooms. We were butchered by mosquitoes, and I don't normally get bitten by mosquitoes. At least one TV in the room is missing. And to change towels more often. The pool is extra clean. The apartment although small was in an ideal spot . Quiet street back off the main road but well lit with security lights. The decor was simple but stylish lovely beds and tall velvet headboards added to the look. Air con was included and it was such a good price . We were met off our transport on main street and our cases driven to door even though it was a 2.min walk. Room had the Aircon on and a bottle of water so nice after a long.day travelling. Communication was via WhatsApp with the owner who was super helpful . Even came late at night when Aircon wouldn't go on. Would come again

We love staying at the Dora, we've stayed in a few places in St George South but we always stay here if they have vacancies.The room we stayed in had recently had a makeover and the new decor is lovely. ( I wish I had taken photos but you can see them on the website)The room itself is clean and comfortable as are the beds, my partner and I slept well which is unusual for me. The kitchenette area is small but functional with the usual appliances..hob, kettle, toaster fridge etc. Air conditioning and safe are also available if wanted or needed. The pool area is clean, quiet and well maintained, I had it completely to myself at one point, other residents drift back and forth throughout the day.There's only one main road that runs the length of the resort and everything is either on it or just off it, The Dora is perfectly situated close to the amenities of the resort, there's a supermarket at the end of the driveway ( 1 or 2 minutes walk) the long sandy beach is only about 5 or 10 minutes walk away and it continues right around the bay. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, the Panorama restaurant across the road is lovely and the perfect place to watch the sun go down over the sand dunes across the bay. About half way down the driveway there is a grassy area which is available to park on if you've hired a car. Everyone from the owners to the cleaners are friendly, helpful and efficient.

Having to leave

Everything was great! The room is nice and has everything you need. The location is superb, close to the beaches and stores. The cleaning ladies were also very nice and regularly took great care of the apartment. The pool was amazing as well, very clean and refreshing after a long and warm beach day. 10/10 :)

The studio was kept clean and tidy, the kitchen facilities were functional, and we had everything we expected. The air conditioning worked well. The pool was nice. It was good value for money.

The mattress was a little firm for us.

It was clean, very private from others, good location and excelent host. There was an AC for hot days, comfy bed and parking space.

No TV or radio, but if u plan activities every day, it’s not that needed. No breakfast, but had a small kitchen space, made everything ourselves, so it wasn’t a big problem.

The apartment was exactly as described. Perfectly clean, basic Greek style apartment. The location was perfect for the beach and the tavernas and bars. Kostas was the perfect host.
