Very nice hotel in the mountains. Perfect spot to disconnect from the city. Nice that it has the sauna and swimming pool. Also it is nice they accept dogs and they are very welcomed.

Given the hotel guests are mainly families with children it would be good if they had some time in the swimming pool after witch children should not enter (for example from 19:00 or 20:00) because with so many kids in the swimming pool area it's impossible to enjoy the swim and get rest with all the noise

Beautiful surroundings, amazing breakfast. We stayed here for a daytime wedding at a nearby monastery to avoid having to drive back after a day (night) of partying. The Vilar is obviously meant for families, so the amount of kids at the morning buffet was quite impressive and maybe not everyone's cup of tea.The beds were comfortable though and perfect for our needs.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were very good. There were several different options and not too many. Kids loved the area around, walking to the little farm, riding a pony, or playing in the playground. Finally, the interior heated pool was a big extra, as the kids had lots of fun there too.

I can't say I disliked something. The place was great surrounded by nature with plenty of activities. It is amazing if you want to disconnect for a weekend.

The only problem we had was that they didn't speak English! It was very difficult some of the times to communicate with the staff.

Food at breakfast absolutely No 1 on our 3 weeks trip via Poland Germany France and Spain. HUGE selection of meals - whatever you wish to eat - it was available at sweddish table. All was tasty so much!

Very well organized for kids, also babies. Excellent location in the middle of the forest. Buffet for breakfast and dinner good and they also have some baby food.

Bed not very comfortable, playground for kids a bit old

Outstanding views from room balcony and excellent facilities. Very nice and friendly staff. Visiting the animal farm was also very fun. Very good breakfast.

The place looks like a town, previous. The sightseeing of the Montseny are exceptional!

Many kids if your are not in a Family mood. Also some noisy dogs. We love dogs but not the ones all day barking...

Fantastic stay, highly recommended.
