The front desk staff, Manager Robert, and housekeeping staff on the 2nd floor were very cordial and courteous and accommodating, from changing rooms to getting a new shower curtain. The breakfast was quite good and the staff made sure it was well replenished as needed. The location is very convenient to downtown Pelican Rapids and the surrounding areas. We were lucky to be there on a Thursday evening to listen to music in the barn and grab a bite from several food trucks on the property. The rooms were nice, spacious and comfortable having a chair or in the suite a sofabed. Each room had a microwave, refrigerator.

The carpet in the room could have been a little cleaner and the shower needed a little attention, which was promptly remedied by the staff.

We love this place for a weekend getaway. It’s quiet and convenient and you’ll never find a softer, more sinkable bed to lounge in. Bob at the front desk is super accommodating. Go for a hike at Maplewood, eat at the Cornfield Cafe, and then settle in for hot tub and pizza and movies!

The fire pit. Loved that our room was made up everyday. The continental breakfast was really good.

The location is beautiful, near the town but clearly rural and serene. Watching the swans swim from my room and various other water birds was a treat. Customer service is outstanding, they were very helpful with my gluten challenge.
