We put our things in the room then went into the restaurant for a meal and it was EXCEPTIONAL!! It was very busy of course a Friday night in the lakes country we just sat down and expected to wait for any service I no sooner sat down and there was our waiter with menus and took our drink order. We never had to wait for anything our beverages never ran out and we were always checked on. We found our 1 bed room was a little too small so I just texted the hotel and immediately we were put in a 2 bed room that was extremely comfortable!! We really liked the hotel and loved the restaurant and even though we only live 2 hrs away we will for sure stay again!!

Showing up to the hotel and having my room code on me and being able to access my room immediately was pretty great, good location attached to bar/restaurant and liquor store. gas station next to it and BBQ shack on other side was thoroughly enjoyed.

The beds were very comfortable and we liked the selection - one king or two doubles. Price is reasonable.

There weren't any tissues and we had colds; otherwise, we were very pleased. This was not our first stay so knew what to expect. Will probably stay again.

It was a surprise to me. I did not know what to expect at all. When I arrived it was a little confusing to find, but when I found it I found a lovely renovated motel with a restaurant, huge bar, friendly staff, big patio and great rooms. Not fancy, but this is lake country, so fancy is not what it's all about. This was a great place to stay, and I would happily stay there again!!

Shower took 4 mins before it would get hot. Someone was smoking pot in their room. Could smell it in the lobby area

Self check-in, bed was too hard for our preference, no chair in room but we found some outside the room snd used those

The size of the room was great, along with the mattress/bedding. They offered Netflex/HBO which was an added bonus.

Check in was a bit too quirky. The Otter is attached to the "Supper Club"/Bar and there is really no instructions that mention you need to see one of the staff of the bar to check in. When the co-owner met us at the restaurant he checked us in/gave us our room key and showed us where to enter the lodge to our room. There were no real instructions for room WI-FI until you enter your room and locate the insructions. Then there are a few laminated rules/regulations for staying at The Otter. It was a bit too laid-back in

I love how I can go into the restaurant sit down for a fabulous meal. And get checked into the hotel at the same time without any wasted time or steps. People Are Awesome the food was amazing live band and balcony on my room. Unbelievable

I did try to call a couple times. Never got an answer. My only complaint on this place. I know Staffing is tight with covid. I'm not stressing it
