Very friendly staff in your Housekeeping staff.

Dinner meal in dining room. Four of the six adults at our table had one of the Memorial Day Specials at $35 each and after ordering were told they were unable to get the potatoes they ordered. Then when the food was delivered two of the others were told they were unable to get the vegetable they ordered. The twice baked potatoes we did get were well done and crusty on the top. Overall very expensive and very disappointing vacation meal for my family :(

We asked for a lakeside room and didn’t get it even though it was a Sunday night snd very quiet. We could hear the trains abit. Ate in the restaurant which was threatening to close the kitchen at 8pm. We were desperate for a meal after driving almost 5 hours from Canada. The shrimp calypso dish was horrible like a Mac n cheese with shrimp which was not mentioned in the description. The quesadillas were much better. Didn’t risk eating there for breakfast. The hot tub was closed at 8 pm. All in all somewhat disappointing. But it’s a lovely location.

Wonderful location with lake view! The room itself was top notch, the bed honestly one of the most comfortable we've slept on while travelling. Pillows labeled soft and firm, so both of us were comfortable! The patio balcony was lovely to sit in, both in morning and at evening. The included toiletries were Dove branded and smelled great.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed early on Mondays, but showed open online prior to us booking. We would've happily ate at the restaurant. Breakfast not included but they did have free coffee all day in lobby. The hotel is directly across from a busy train track, but thankfully I slept with earplugs and didn't notice it.

Location was convenient. The room was clean and tidy. I would recommend staying at this hotel. I'm sure in the summer its much busier and even more fun. I like how they have larger bottles of soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion with pumps.

Pool & Hot tub are small. Hot tub was clean. The pool was had a off color to the water. But it didn't seem dirty. My kids enjoyed it. Our lotion dispenser in our room was broken, but not a big deal.

We enjoyed catching up fish from the dock on the lake in front of the hotel.

The lady who checked us out wouldn’t give us a receipt and didn’t tell us what the charges would be. She said I would get a receipt from booking.com. Three days later, I still haven’t received a receipt.

Allowed pets.

I think its overpriced for what it is. Also Charged for orange juice. Kinda dumb to charge for that when breakfast was part of the package. Room facing pool overwhelmed by chlorine smell and lights on during sleep hours. Overall the while hotel is dated and can use a major update inside and out.

The bed was comfortable. And the access in the build was very nice. I only needed to use the key card to my room.

My 3 rooms I booked were not together. The bathroom fan did not work while taking a shower and made the bathroom very steamy. The bathroom tub was very slippery and the water from the shower leaked out the tub due to a fabric shower liner. Making the floor a slip hazard. Flo ally I believe I asked for a pool room view and was given a parking lot view. The train going all hours for the night was unsettling.

The room was newly remodeled. When we checked in, the front desk staff were very friendly, efficient and upgraded us to a lakeside room. The room was very comfortable and clean with nice furnishings. We spent some time in the bar and grill. Had drinks and appetizers. There were 2 for 1 beers until for happy hour. The walleye fingers and burger sliders were tasty. We ate breakfast in the restaurant the next morning. The food menu options were good, reasonably priced. The restaurant staff were nice.

All was good, no complaints.

The hotel was beautiful and the service was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great lunch options and value.

I would not order the scrambled eggs or pancakes again, but the bacon was good. The eggs were dry and folded in half, and the pancakes also on the dry side.

I need to give a shout out to your front desk staff member, Dylan. There was an error on booking.com to make my reservation, but he work with me to resolve the problem and found a room for me. Can’t thank him enough. Kudos Dylan!!
