Situated on the main drag but set far enough back to be completely quiet and restful. Very nice ambience - classic french and very stylish. Had a beautiful double room (305) which was almost like a suite. Very comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom. Separate toilet. Small balcony. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff were very pleasant. Parking available Close to plenty of restaurants/bars/cafes.

Having to pay extra to park the car. What a shame that this hotel doesn't have a restaurant. Hanging space for clothes but no drawers. A lovely place for a one or two night stop-over, but we wouldn't choose to stay here for a full holiday.

The location is brilliant, the parking was the main attractionas visiting a new city which was safe and out of the way so no massive unload as we were only staying one night.

The room was supposed to be an upgrade for a small sum. It was to have a balcony, it did which looked out into the stairwells and onto the balcony of the room accross - slightly disapointing. I was.nt expecting a view but really. On the plus side the room was well tucked at the back away from the noise of the Brasserie on the main road. Unfortunatly the lane below was being refurbished so we were woken by the associated noise - clearly nothing to do with the hotel. No net curtain in the balcony window so one needed to keep the curtain closed to have privacy?? Not sure the A/c was working the room seemed no cooler than outside. No milk for the tea in the morning.

Overnight stay in a super charming old hotel in the centre of Montelimar. Good size clean room and shower room overlooking a quiet courtyard. Great to have secure parking and a hotel that takes a big dog! Lovely welcoming staff. There is no evening restaurant in the hotel but it's a minute walk to a good selection of restaurants open in mid-January. Very nice park with a collection of chickens, goats etc to walk the dog in just opposite the driveway to the hotel. Breakfast is a cold buffet that worked adequately for us. We would definitely stay here again, thank you!

Not a problem with the hotel but the satnav will send you round the block to a one way street to a pedestrian street that you can't access. The actual entrance is a driveway very much at the front of the hotel on a mini dual carriageway. If you miss the entrance there are roundabouts at each end of the street.

Perfectly located, car park on site available, cost is 7 EUR per day. It is secure but limited to around 8 spaces. Very close to bars and restaurants but if you arrive on a Sunday afternoon they might not offer kitchen service after about 3 pm. Good park opposite the hotel for walking a dog or simply stretching your legs after a long journey. Hotel is very retro, by design, its quite an interesting place to stay. We would stay again.

The only hot or warm item on the breakfast menu was toast. Even though boiled eggs were available they were cold. The rest of the breakfast fayre was as expected in a French hotel.

Perfect location in the center of Montélimar. Beautiful hotel, very characteristic building, comfortable room en perfect beds! The breakfast is superb (€11 per person). Very dog friendly (free of charge) with a park on the other side of the street to walk the dog. Nice and friendly staff. Would highly recommend this hotel when you travel the Route du Soleil.

If you come by car make sure to reserve a parking spot (€7 per day). The hotel has 20 rooms but fewer parking spots (parking is off street behind a gate). The bathroom is clean but can still smell like sewage (at least that was the case in our room). You can hear the water flowing in the sewer so this is probably a technical problem (lack of a stench trap).

The room 102 we stayed in is probably the grandest room ever. It was a beautiful period bedroom which was huge with wonderful furniture. The bathroom with double sink, walk in shower, separate WC was luxurious. The breakfast was perfect with good variety for people all over Europe. The staff were especially nice and friendly. The location of the hotel was perfect as restaurants outside. The parking was on the hotel site out the front and secure behind coded gates. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay.

Nothing all was perfect

Wonderful staff - very helpful and freindly. Beautiful little hotel tugged into a little alley with its own little courtyard and a very oldfashoned but charming rooms - exactly as in the pictures. (We had the huge family room and our children felt like the little lord 😉) Nice and good-for-value breakfast with freshly sqeezed orange juice.

The hotel is central and a very nice place in real. But the location is main factor for us to book this hotel as you are right in the center. Rooms are good, beds are good, all renovated and also breakfast has enough options.

I think the hotel has become a bit expensive for what you get. Besides we reserved big beds and only 2 single bed room type were available when we came. Not really an issue, but staff appear to be a bit nervous about things.

This was a perfect hotel. It was old, and in perfect shape. I felt like I was back in 1800's France. The room was a good size, and the bathroom was large with a nice shower and separate toilet. A brand-new large TV had just been installed. The breakfast was excellent in a very well-decorated room. The ambiance was wonderful.

Inside private parking (which closes at night) Specially the staff members and manager were very flexible and welcoming as we arrived after the closing time and kindly stayed longer so we could park the car inside, many thanks!!! Very nice breakfast and cosy rooms. Everytime we travel by car from Germany to Spain, we stay in this nice hotel and cute city.
