A monthly trip to East London is made so much more relaxing, knowing you have a secure place to go to in the evening after a long tiring day. Exceptional treatment by the staff and a very neat and clean room. I always make sure I book in time so that I can rest peacefully knowing I am safe and my vehicle is secure when I am travelling in East London. The place was very clean, it was nice and big too, the bath was amazing, I am not a small person but boy the bath was perfect for anyone who wants to relax, they even had bubble bath ready to be used. I didn't experience any load shedding which is important in SA right now, only the microwave and Kettle couldn't be used but that is minor for what you get. The bed was comfy and the host was very friendly too. I will certainly got back when possible

As always, a wonderful welcome! When there was a temporary problem with hot water, we were immediately upgraded to another flat without additional charge.

Not a thing! The problem with the hot water was quickly resolved. The staff are very friendly and immediately offered assistance. The garden does not have a view of the sea but that is hardly the owner's fault!

I love the location. The Ladies is so kind and friendly and always help full . It is so nice and quiet. The best place to recharge your batteries again. Very clean and neat.

The sea-view was wonderful, and everything concerned with the property and management was fine.

There was just a bit of noise from a fellow guest for a short while. But the real problem came from booking.com. I changed the number of persons to 1, and yet the booking went through as for 2 people. So supposedly I was charged for 2 people. The kind lady on reception said it would have to be booked again to get it corrected, and there was not time for such.

No breakfast but great location. I had a battery problem, and the hosts happily assisted.

I cannot fault them on anything, they met all our expectations and more.

Owner very friendly, she was in reachable all the time to assist or clarify some staff. Privacy on its highest level, rooms are spacious and they have lamps incase of loaf shedding. Security is their priority. Place us clean and loveable. Walk away from the beach. Easy accessible.

We just love staying at Crowned Crane! We always stay there when we are back in Gonubie and can definitely recommend a visit. Shani and Jennifer and staff are most helpful, thanks so much for another fantastic stay! 😀

Comfy stay and walking distance from the sea. Friendly staff and value for money.

Rained during our stay but we could take out the little one for walks on the beach and picking up sea shells :)
