Spacious room, also the room amenities and kitchen equipment are complete and very well thought supplies. They even provide the laundry detergent. Loved the coffee pods every day! Also the bar open till late, near the smoking area. There’s a famous nasi padang and supermarket just across the hotel. Near Galaxy Mall. Most of all, the level of service and the staff, impressive! Thought Bali is the best, till I experience staying in Surabaya, particularly in Oakwood Hotel. Well done everyone!

Maybe a bit deep clean in the shower area on regular basis to maintain the color of the tiles. They should change the dining table, dangerous if we lean on one side, not stable.

Rooms are very large and quite high-spec, reflecting a major up-front investment when the hotel was built maybe around 10 years ago. Huge amount of drawer, cupboard and desk space. All staff, from the main entrance, to the car park, Front Desk and breakfast restaurant were very helpful and friendly (especially Pak Ary), and the breakfast selection was excellent.

Some minor maintenance issues in the room, such as very slow draining shower and wash basin traps. Also some confusion over the swimming pool(s): we found the the relatively small and crowded indoor pool, yes, but if there is an outdoor pool as advertised on Booking.com, we never found it.

1. The room is clean and tidy, the bed is very comfortable to sleep. 2. Before we check out, we requested the laundry service, it was completed before the time we book to collect which is convenient for us. 3. The hotel is close to one shopping centre, within walking distance for 10mins. 4. Staff are friendly and willing to help.

1. One day the toilet was blocked. But the service was really quick to resolve the issue. 2. Every morning after the breakfast, it requests me to sign on the invoice, which confuses me if the breakfast will get charged twice from my deposit. But after the explanation from the reception desk, it helps me clarify.

Cups with coffee stains, I'm expecting no stains for paying over $300. Hot features in the water dispenser not working and around the dispenser look dirty. I guess a lot of small things make the stay slightly annoying for paying premium price. Will I spend a similar amount of money to stay again? The answer is no. Simply because the apartment looks different to the picture advertised in booking.com

The location of the hotel is great, particularly close to a big shopping mall / supermarket. The facilities are as described, and breakfast was really good! The staff was also very kind and always ready to help. I was able to rest well and prepare for my business trip.

The only comment I have is that perhaps there could be two teabags of each type of tea, instead of just one, as I was working late and found myself out of tea.

staff hospitality were excellent. all staff that i met, was greeting me politely and nicely. i had trouble with electric stove in my 2nd night, and they moved me to other room with working stove. been staying here since 2019 when i visit hometown, will do again in the future.

kitchen exhaust above the stove is a bit rusty, need to ask cleaning staff to clean it. but they did clean it directly. Smart TV, but you can't use the smart features (streaming apps, internet, etc) only cable TV

Left an item or two in the room during check out. Staff was quick to call us to come back and recover the items. Appreciated the professionalism of the staff.

There was no spa as indicated by the hotel but instead it was a service that would be offered to your room. A bit of a false advertising there.

We were upgraded when we checked in and the apartment suite was amazing with very good facilities. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. There is everything you need for a really good stay. Would definitely stay here again!!!!

The suite was very hot when the sun was directly on it but the AC coped with the heat when it was turned to the lowest setting. Nothing else

No microwave…no kitchen cloths or towels…the dishwasher would not work…and missing soap for the dishwasher
