The staff were super friendly. The bed was comfortable and the Location scenic.

There is no lift. Although the staff carried the bags up the stairs, I wouldn't want to be staying there for a long time. The AC actually worked but was quite noisy. The spa facilities only open at 12pm. There is no parking at the property. Its a hairy 11 minutes drive that gets you to the other side of the bridge. Its quite inconvenient. The picture of the jacuzzi in the room that I booked wasn't actually there. There was a bath tub. The Thai restaurant down stairs served the most expensive spring roll in history. Dont do it..... its really not worth it although cute, we went because nothing else open on a sunday, should have done uber eats.

This is such a cool building. We stayed in the property attached to the spa. The beds are quite possibly the most comfortable hotel beds we have ever slept in. The spa was wonderful after a long travel day. We enjoyed learning about the history of the location and found this to be a relaxing spot.

We had read reviews about the bathrooms being odd, so we knew what to expect before our stay. You can definitely hear everything in the room from the bathroom! The glass in the shower is frosted up at the top but not the bottom, so if the window curtain is open opposite the shower you are visible from the waist down, although this would be okay if you’re in the bath and want a view while you soak. It would be nice to add a couple hooks somewhere to hang towels, robes, or toiletry bags.

The hotel is very nice, located in a quiet part of Baden, yet it's not far from the city centre – within walking distance. Good size room with comfortable bed and big TV. The staff at the front desk were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating throughout the whole week. Breakfast is served across the river in another building, and it was very good, featuring scrambled eggs, fresh bread, and both hot and cold beverages. It had everything I needed. The spa is beautiful, and facilities like the gym, indoor pool, and sauna made my stay really enjoyable and relaxing.Overall, my experience was very positive, and I look forward to returning in the future.

We loved our stay at Limmathof Hotel and Spa. The location is on a quiet old street facing the river, a beautiful spot for a promenade and relaxation. Our room had a lovely design with a spacious bed. Breakfast took place in a building on the other side of the river, and we enjoyed the five-minute walk and crossing the bridge over the water to get there. The spa was included in the price and was truly amazing. It featured different saunas, a steam room, and a thermal bath. We especially loved the beautiful salt room, the thermal pool with a waterfall and jacuzzi, all elegantly illuminated and designed. The spa area had many restrooms with tea available and a surprising ice room with an ice wall. We also tried the small fitness room and were pleasantly surprised to find that on sunny days, you can train on the terrace facing the river. It was two days of total relaxation and wellness just 20 minutes by train from Zurich main station.

I made a mistake with the booking and reserved a single room instead of a double. It cost us much more to change the booking at the hotel. I advise booking online and checking for one of the great offers, especially since there are excellent prices during the week.

Very nice location, old Limmathof building elegantly renovated, cosy Studio rooms beneath the roof.

Actually, there are two old buildings and one new on the other side of the river. Breakfast is over there in a restaurant. In the old building is a restaurant which is independent. In the other old building is the Spa with a front desk that is also taking care of hotel guests. So, the impression is more like a serviced apartment with extra services provided by external vendors.

I liked that the room was spacious & had a verandah overlooking the river. It is in a great location beside the river, the parking was conveniently located & access to the spa facilities was great to have. In addition there were restaurants nearby as well as proximity to the beautiful old town where my family come from.

Just that the bathroom only had a sheer curtain so not complete privacy. We couldn’t plug in our European converter so couldn’t charge our phones etc. but overall we loved our stay there.

It has a SPA. Parking close by and you can drop your luggage by driving directly to hotel.

The hotel has two buildings. To go to SPA you should cross the street outside from one building to another in robes and sleepers... in winter time. There is a bridge between two buildings, but excess to it is locked. There is the breakfast option, but it is at another, third building, across the river.

Loved the spa, the room was lovely and proximity to great restaurants. Staff were very kind and we really enjoyed the room - which was tastefully decorated. Bed was comfy. Nice stroll along the river to the main town.

Taking 3 flights of stairs to the room, breakfast was in a completely separate building across the bridge and on the other side of the river - not optimal. Also position of the bed was directly under the window and light flooded in and onto our heads in the morning. Location was good, but still quite a distance from the main town centre.

I was upgraded to a studio room. I liked that they honored the "green card" but still replenished my coffee and water without being asked to do so. The bed was super comfortable. The spa was lovely.

There could be more options for breakfast. I didn't mind walking up the 3 flights of stairs to my room, but not everyone would.
