Our room was a refurbished room, unfortunately, we are builders and former hotel owners, and could see that it was probably done by a maintanence person. But it was obvious they are trying to update the rooms.

When we went to check in to hotel there was a note that the desk clerk had to step away for 5-10 minutes. We understand that, but it was more than 20 minutes. I assume it was the manager, owner, maintainance person and he said he was working on door locks on second floor. Not sure if he has to do everything in hotel, but you must have someone available at the desk. It was between 4:30 and 5 that we waited. Later, he was in the breakfast room watching tv. Not impressed. Won't be staying there next time we go through there.

It was clean & check in was fast & courteous.

The bed springs were noisy. We got a room with 2 queens. The beds were comfortable enough but obviously cheap as every time one of us shifted, the mattresses groaned as the springs readjusted. We are average weight (6 ft/210 & 5’5/145), so it wasn’t due to obesity.

The rooms have all been recently redone with wooden floors, and they are lovely and well appointed. I was not expecting it to be so nice. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The included breakfast did not offer eggs or sausages, but was mostly just carbohydrates and sugar. The coffee was not good.

Our king studio suite was large. Nice comfortable bed. Breakfast was good; make your own pancakes and waffles. No eggs or meat. Lots of parking.

No elevator. We carried our heavy luggage up and down 2 floors, not to mention going up and down to get ice, leave the property etc.

The room was newly remodeled, spacious, and very comfortable!

There wasn't an elevator so getting to the second floor with more than one bag was taxing. I felt bad for an elderly couple that was trying to get their bag up the stairs as I was carrying mine up to my room.

Clean and spacious room. Room was newly remodeled and had a clean, modern look. No issue with construction that other comments pointed out to. Front desk was friendly.

Bathroom was missing a shower curtain.

This hotel was beyond my expectations. One of the best I've stayed in so far on my trip. Staff was very friendly and kind . The restroom was spotless and neat. The room had a huge mirror behind the 2 beds , tooo cute!! It had a closet and some drawers for people who tend to stay more than a day. Really enjoyed staying there.

To tell you guys the truth , I have 0 complaints. I LITERALLY LOVED IT.

The air conditioning is the old under the window type, would not cool down, barely any air coming out. we tried two other rooms same situation, finally found one that worked. Too nice a facility to have outdated air. we , traveling from still 93 degree weather in Texas want cold air. For this reason I would not book this hotel again especially in summer and fall coming from a very hot climate. our son lives in Idaho Springs so we will be doing this often. I’m sorry everything else was was great but cold air to us is important.

Location was convenient, staff was friendly and courteous, the room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was pretty disappointing. They shouldn't call it breakfast, honestly. They offer cereal, yogurt, plain bagels, and the use of a waffle maker.. and the coffee was basically water. When I see that a hotel offers breakfast, I am expecting something warm and nutritious. Even just eggs and bacon would have made a huge improvement. This place is in the middle of nowhere, so obviously the people staying here are most likely traveling. My husband and I were driving from Steamboat Springs, CO to Snyder, TX for my grandfather's funeral. An actual breakfast would have been greatly appreciated in the middle of nowhere on that trip.

Very convenient, nice staff, free but somewhat limited breakfast

Hard to say because it was under construction / renovation at the time of our stay. Looks like it's going to be great though!
