Unfortunately, my trip was cut short due to a family emergency that pulled me away. But, I was able to spend several hours in this gorgeous home. It's a veritable museum with an amazing collection of antiques both large and small. Beautifully curated, it is like a passage of time through the history of the area. I felt like I was living in a bygone era. It's in a lovely quiet neighborhood, in a great location just a few blocks from the center of town. The communication was great with the host. It was an easy self checking and felt very warm and welcoming. I look forward to coming back.

I liked the Simple and very good instructions on check in. The staff also responded to my text question before arriving. The stay was very quiet since my one night was on a Sunday to Monday stop while driving to Colorado for a snow ski trip. The breakfast was excellent. The old house has character and is unique. I was assigned the only room on the first floor which helped in getting luggage to my room after driving 700 miles.

I can’t say anything negative because I like the experience of different B& Bs.

We loved the old house - which was very comfortable- we did not expect to find a *real* bed & breakfast on Booking! The hosts were wonderful- communicative about how to get in via text, friendly but not intrusive the next morning and they served us an AMAZING breakfast that was so delicious we didn’t need to eat lunch! Our room was very comfortable and private. It was nice to stay in the residential part of Raton.

No negatives; we loved everything about it and will plan to stay again on our next trip through.

It was nice to have real food made for us in the morning, rather than hotel breakfast which isn’t filling. The hosts are very kind and communicative with all the details for our booking. It was also a very good price for what we got and my partner was happy with my choice of ‘hotel’ for the night after staying in a few motel 6’s hahaha. We did think it was creepy at first since it’s an older home but I felt very safe inside and easy parking right out front also was nice.

This was just a personal preference, the covers were very hot during the night but the cool room kept the overall temperature pretty decent

Rooms were very clean and well cared for. Shower had tons of pressure. Breakfasts were exceptional - prepared and served by the owners. Location is great - only 2-3 blocks walk to a variety of restaurants and brew pubs. All in all an extremely comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.

The wifi was very weak - my laptop wouldn't even connect. I could get on with my phone and a tablet.

When we arrived in Raton we drove by the house and both my wife and I said WOW at the same time because the property is beautiful, we could tell right away there must be a lot of history to this house and rightly so, it has a rich history. The property owners are really nice and inquisitive of if we were comfortable and if we needed anything at all, which we did not. the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet and the breakfast was very very great, what a great place to stay. Thank you so much Jason And Sofia for a wonderful stay.

The property is absolutely beautiful. The rooms were decorated so lovely and everything looked of the time that it was created. But not only where the rooms fabulous Sophia and Jason, who owned the B&B were so courteous and very great communicators at helping me check in late at night. And in the morning, Jason even made me a very delicious egg pastry for my early travels. I really enjoyed my stay and I will make sure to recommend this place to friends and family and definitely I would stay here again if I’m in the area the location is great as well.

This was my 6th stay at Hearts Desire B & B. Every room is different and comfortable. The couple who own/run it are awesome and breakfast delicious. I enjoy the variety of art and tasteful decorating. I like to take a walk in the surrounding neighborhoods. People are generally friendly. I saw two elk in yards!

Two smaller rooms upstairs share a common bathroom with old style tub and shower. I think they may be doing remodeling of them in the future.

I’m not a usual BnB type of person. Passing through on a long road trip I booked about 10min before showing up late in the evening. The hosts were extremely friendly when I called and walked me through getting setup for my room easily. After a long day of driving with my dog cooped up in the car this was exactly what I needed. They had a nice yard with string lights that my dog could stretch her legs and play a little fetch while I relaxed and ate my dinner. The air conditioning in the room was wonderfully cold and blasting. The bed was comfortable and I had a good, quiet nights rest before another long day of driving. I booked the Queen room with the en suite shower. It was amazingly hot and pounding water pressure. Overall BnB aesthetics are a little overwhelming for me but I would absolutely come back again. Its so much nicer if traveling with a dog to have a nice yard they compared to the usual chain hotel with the sad patch of grass. Also the hosts were really friendly and down to earth type people.

Since I arrived at night, I was a little unsure about the surrounding area since it was so so quiet but parked my car that had several weeks of gear from my road trip in the vehicle and had no issues. I would’ve preferred breakfast to be a little earlier but it was worth hanging around for before hitting the road.

Wonderful place, very individual, we felt warmly welcome, got an upgrade of the room, great beds, nice little town with at least one very tasty Pizza place (we have been only for one night). The place was easy to find with much space for parking. Breakfast was a pleasure and we will definitely come again when we are around.

We did not like that we had to leave after just one night.
