Very quiet and nice

The food is horrible 💔😭😭😩 I went there in January and was so disappointed with the breakfast. Thought maybe the would be some improvements this time around . But it was worse . Imagine paying R190 for burnt breakfast . The whole buffet consisted of food which was burnt . I was so shocked as to how someone thought it was a good idea to put burnt food for guest ? I always sleep at protea but Klerksdorp branch is by far the worst when it comes to food , imagine now having to get up in the morning to buy breakfast because the hotel food is unbearable. For a hotel ? You are serving guests that kind of food

The location was ideal for myself. I attended Oese Gemeente for a musical event. ( For the elderly ❤️) Breakfast 🍳 🧀 ☕ was amazing. I enjoyed it. The Protea Hotel is well maintained with a beautiful luscious garden setting 🌳🌳 Thank you to every one that assisted me.

The 🚽 area. Had an odour. After awhile it was no longer there. Breakfast area: Curtains were off the rails. ( Unattractive) I 🤔 it would not take long to simply take the time to adjust.

Beautiful Gardens and the close proximity of the buildings are great.

Doesn't look like the maintenance is kept properly. Showers, stairs, under the desk counters, cupboards etc are dirty. Definitely not cleaned well. The floors in the rooms are sticky. Cant walk eithout shoes at all. Definitely not worth the price per night you pay. The manager and the trainee that was at the front desk was definitely not accommodating at all. Quality of the tv's are pathetic. The viewing is difficult as the picture is distorted and not clear at all. Its a beautiful hotel, I hope they can improve.

The breakfast was good, we enjoyed it. Our room was right in front of the pool quadrangle, and we also loved it. The hotel is very centrally located, and it was easy to access all the places we needed to go to

I know the restaurant operates as a separate entity but their service leaves a lot to be desired. We had lunch there, the service was very slow and they were not stocked on most items we wanted to order. The burger patty also came with a plastic wrapper on it. Not an enjoyable xperience

Our room was clean. We had good wifi, we had clean beds. The breakfast was amazing. My husband and I paid 260 and we had so many options. The resturant was nice, with a good view

The guests were making noise in the parking lot. and drinking there. The view wasnt good either. Our room was facing a liquor store. The bathroom did not have a toilet brush. or an air freshner.

For my son complains about the pool that is deep seems like they are not accommodated

I appreciated the hosts allowing me an early check-in "at a fee, of course." we were tired from driving for hours and just needed to rest. Our room was spacious and clean. The best part about my stay was the exceptional service of reception staff, especially Phila. I'm grateful for the extra mile you put on, fixing my loyalty rewards matter. I'm also thankful to the room service staff for extra towels, thank you for making our stay warm and comfortable.

Paying extra for early check-in.

Rooms were great, enough bottled water. The staff engagement was exceptional. We were accomodated regarding a short notice special request for my mom that use a wheelchair. The security staff was also friendly and helpful.

Bathrooms: very tiny and limescale build up. Toilets had problems.

Bed was so comfortable and bef linen very clean and fresh. Keep it up. Staff very friendly and willingness to help though for no reason they postponed giving me 2 keys at once. Room was clean and spacious for the 4 of us. Breakfast so delectable though they took time to refill the tomatoes.

Bathroom too small . Toilet and shower spacing inconvenient. Bed light flickering
