Staying at B&B Mikawa was not just the best stay I had in Japan, it’s the best stay I had in my life! Not only is the villa so beautiful, comfortable, and just PERFECT, but Sasa-san really goes above and beyond for the guests! He is the best manager (owner?) you will ever meet! He speaks amazing English, is so helpful with questions and giving recommendations for everything, and just knows how to create a great stay experience! I met some of his staff too and they were also all so kind and friendly! I would gladly come back to Mikawa just for the experience of staying at B&B Mikawa again, it’s sooo relaxing and peaceful here! Thank you SO much Sasa-san for the best stay of my life!

The property was unique with lots of character! It was clean and bright. We wished we could have stayed longer. Annie our contact was extremely helpful. She answered all our questions and assisted in helping 2 older Australians into accessible and delightful accommodation! Thank you Annie!

My cheaper room was upgraded to one of six very much nicer bungalows, the other five were all empty. The operator has several properties near the station that weren't being occupied either. I visited midweek. Tourism has not yet returned to Kanazawa after covid, which is quite sad for the area as it's losing a lot of it's population and services.

Everything was flawless. There's not a lot around Mikawa station, it's a quiet town that closes at 8pm on weekdays with very few restaurants. JR local rail is every 20 mins until late.

We have a car and a dog so it was great, comfortable, very clean space. Breakfast was basic, bit I’m not a breakfast person so it was great. Bread was fresh and eggs yummy. Outside space brilliant.

Nothing I didn’t like. I highly recommend this place. I would rate like a 4 star hotel. ¥2000 for a dog is a bit steep, but the room was spotlessly clean so I guess the next guest will be very happy.

We got an upgrade to the villa which was amazing! We were with the car and there was parking too. Villa is amazing with all amenities and super comfortable bed! And netflix 😁 Really close to the seaside, family mart and amazing izakaya where people are extremely friendly and we got invited for some food & sake 😍

It would be nice to have a spoon in the cutleries set :) but we managed anyway since we had some plastic ones from the convenience store.

Big rooms. Good value and includes breakfast at a nearby cafe. Owner is great and gathers people up from his range of sites for good dinners etc.

Nothing. It’s 20mins by train from Kanazawa but the beach location makes up for that.

It was a bit noisy, but we were so tired it actually didn't matter at all for us.

Good location just close to train station and tranquil area. Room is clean and comfy.

Not many restaurants nearby. If you can drive, there will be more choices.

The staff is very friendly and supportive. They There are kitchen in the first floor with provided breakfast for guests. Also, guess can use the hotel’s bicycles!

There was a bar at 1st floor and the song was very loud, by the way the hotel staff was very helpful to inform to the bar. The hotel should remove the "check-in here" sign at the front of hotel to avoid misunderstand about check in process that the guest need to go to cafe at the station to check-in
