We loved the colonial style of this hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful (booked the underground river tour and ordered food for us when their restaurant was already closed). They picked us up from the airport at no charge as well. The gardens outside of the rooms/villas are a plus and help to disconnect from the busy city outside.

The location is in between the airport and the city centre. You need a ride to go anywhere or ready for a long walk

After we were cheated by another hotel on Saturday, we looked for an alternative. And we hit the jackpot with Dolce Vita! Everything is just right here. The location is very good, the room and the whole lot is spacious (including parking area), quiet and very lovely but also functionally furnished. Not to forget the fast and reliable internet. The restaurant offers good food at affordable prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can really feel at home and relax here. The pool, which is cleaned every day, also contributes to this. We have already booked many hotels in Puerto Princesa because we have a house here on the island but often have to stay away from home. Dolce Vita is definitely at the top of our list and we will come back for sure.

Location. It was very near the airport plus they had a free airport transfer up to 5pm. 300 per van after 5pm (5people). The rooms were as they were in photos. So as the pool and everything else. It was a very nice hotel.

Payment policy. I usually book via booking.com or agoda to get discounts. But this hotel charges extra 5% for credit card payments and even debit cards! They also have this note in the room why they do so. Understandable, but I think they should take out their listing in booking.com or wherever else they are listed if they want people to book with them directly. It’s very misleading. I wouldn’t have booked this room if I knew that, despite all the positive things. Integrity should be valued above all.

Wow, great place! Spacious room, nice colonial style, tv with some actual watchable channels like HBO, fridge, big and comfy bed, good AC, etc. There's also a restaurant and pool, staff is professional and friendly. Location in a dead end, so not noisy but restaurants and shops nearby in walking distance. Airport pick up service for free. Good value for your money, I usually complain a lot but here I find nothing to complain, I'd book again without hesitating.

The hotel was excellent, a hidden gem. Shops close by, short taxi ride to the main shopping centre SM. The swimming pool & gardens were beautiful. The staff were very happy and very helpful. The decor was amazing, room clean & tidy, loved the old design. Would definitely stay there again.

Pool towels would of been better if at the restaurant/bar area, so you didn't have to walk to the reception area when wet.

Since the original room that we booked was not available on our new dates, they put us in a very large group room with 2 double beds and 2 bunk beds. Yet the a/c was strong enough to keep the room cool. The wifi signal was also better in this room. We appreciated them accepting the fish that we bought at the public market so that they could have ingredients to prepare the kinilaw that was on their menu but unavailable on our last 2 visits.

This particular room looks much more dated than the villas, which made us feel a bit sad. It's quite easy to fix some of the issues with proper maintenance and just a little bit of observation. We noticed that the hotel was still allotting one pillow per person. (We were here 2 months prior.)

It was only 5 minutes to the airport, but you really weren't disturbed by any noise. As it's set back from the road, it's also very quiet.

They say they do airport pick-ups and drop offs, but only during certain hours, otherwise they.charge 400-500 pesos (which is a lot compared to other trip costs). They charge an additional 4.5% if you pay with a credit card, which is not mentioned by booking.com

Lovely hotel! Nice big room with a memory foam mattress. Free drinking water. Staff were fantastic and helpful. Free pickup from the airport!

The curtains were yellow so let in a lot of light and the window above the door had no curtain and the lights are on all night outside, so you needed to wear an eyemask. The shower wasn’t fantastic but it was fine for a couple days. WiFi in the room was also a bit ropey.

Good value for that price. Quiet place and nice man who take care of that pool bar.

They tell in many places that there is safetybox in room, but its not true. They offer me to leave my passport, catds and 200k pesos money in wooden box in reception, and give me one key and reception keeps spare key. Of course i didnt take that offer.

The property was very well kept and always clean. The staff was extremely helpful, especially the front desk young ladies. They were always pleasant and helpful. The free airport transportation was great and efficient. The pool was an extra bonus and refreshing. My room was beautifully decorated and a nice size. I would absolutely recommend this place if you are in PP.
