We had an amazing stay at this accommodation and highly recommend it! The owner and staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The owner took the time to give us great tips for traveling around Palawan. We were able to book tours with a decent price, and the place was spotless and well-maintained. The location is also very close to the airport, and very good reachable to all other common locations by tricycle. The owner even recommended an app (not Grab, as this is not available in PP) to get cheaper tricycles. Water refills were always available once we have asked the staff and the owner lived on-site, making communication easy. Even when he wasn’t at reception, he was super responsive via the Booking chat and handled everything in minutes. So for us the best base in Puerto Princessa for our day trips. A standout moment was when I left my sunglasses in the van arranged by the owner for our transfer from Puerto Princesa to El Nido. Even though we were no longer staying there, he made sure the glasses were returned to me. His genuine hospitality and kindness were beyond words. All in all, a fantastic experience!

Cleon Villas Pension is located quite centrally. A really quiet paradise awaits you in a small side street. The individual residential units are built on water, so to speak, really nice. There are enough laundry facilities nearby. I personally chose Happy Hour Laundromat. Really good service. There is a small and a large supermarket nearby and a McDonalds 5 minutes away. So you won't starve. You can also book tours. Unfortunately I could only book 1 of the many, the others literally all fell into the water. It's just the rainy season. Other than that, it's just a really nice place to spend a few days in the city or just relax. You can also work, the internet is really fast. Oh and there are two dogs...they are really sweet. All in all, just great.

The room was very clean with comfortable beds, good AC, fast wifi, clean bathrooms, and hot showers. The bathroom light was out and they fixed it right away. Everything worked great. Liked that the cottages were on stilts above water with fish swimming underneath. Nice design. We booked ahead so were lucky to get one of the five cottages on the property as it was fully booked the one night we were there. Also, the road quiets down at night so not noisy when sleeping. This was a problem in various other places we stayed at in the Philippines. We asked the staff to help us call the van transport company (Bloomfield) to book our ride to our next destination. They had to call several times before they got through but got us space at the time we wanted to leave. They also informed us the next morning that the driver was on his way at the specified time. Great customer service.

Not a big issue but there is no screen on the bathroom window.

I stayed at the ced villas last time i was in palawan and i enjoyed it so much i came back on this trip. It's a couple miles south of town but it's very quiet and just what i was wanting. The best thing to do is after your long van ride, go across the street and rent a motorbike. I travel light so I put my backpack on the motorbike and rode out to the villas less than 10 minutes south of el nido. The staff running the place are the greatest. Everyday they're out there cleaning and cleaning and keeping the place in amazing shape. This time i spent time in the pool both days and it's very nice. When you wake up there's coffee waiting on your balcony, and when you're ready they bring you a nice breakfast.

Thank you very much to the owner of the hotel and the staff for their help and recommendations regarding the city. We really liked the owner of the hotel - he told us a lot and recommended us, for which we were grateful to him. Also, we had to leave early in the morning for an excursion, but we did not have time to pack our things so that they could be moved to another house (this was necessary due to the extension of the hotel through Booking (there was no guarantee that we would stay in the same room)). The owner of the hotel understood our situation and said that the staff would be able to do this (move things) themselves while we were on an excursion. We did so, and when we returned, all the things were neatly, in full and accurately moved. Thank you very much and sorry for the inconvenience caused to us. The houses themselves are very clean and well-kept and everything works. I definitely recommend!

Cleon Villas' location is the best, 5mins away from the airport and only 30mins away from the nearest beach - Nagtabon. I appreciated Sir Rain's warm welcome and great recommendations on places to visit since we were traveling with elders during our trip. He even suggested that we extend our car rental and spend the extra day visiting Nagtabon beach which was the best detour we did during our Palawan trip! Kudos to him! The place was great too and had everything we needed in a room, the bathroom and bedsheets were clean and neatly prepared for our stay. Super loved their dogs too, very cute and lovable! The villa also had free parking space, free wifi and if we had more time to stay I think we would have love to try out their breakfast menu as well.

Staff needs improvement, I noticed they smoke anywhere, in 2 occasions, I saw one of them smoke, when we were about to leave and the other was in the morning though I did not see it, it smells as if someone was smoking early in the morning already. I was kind of wondering too why no check out needed but not much of an issue for me anyways. One of the guys just said to leave the keys on there and keep the door open na lang, oh and in the morning I saw room 3 leave and one of the staff stayed up in the bed after they left and even left the door open unabashed if guests will see him or not.

The place is soooo nice 💯 The owner, Sir Rain/Rein is very accommodating, pati yung staff. What I liked most about our stay, is Tato/Tatu, their friendly small dog who welcomes us everytime na babalik na kami sa room namin from our Tours 🐶 Very clean and tahimik yung place, perfect for relaxation.

They don’t have microwave in the room to reheat some food if you have takeouts. Over all, okay yun place.

I warmly recommed this property for your stay in Puerto Princesa. Located in a more quiet area, not far away from the main street and pretty close to the airport, Cleon Villas Pension makes you feel at home. The personnel is extremely helpful, always there to offer you good advice related to places and activities, while also facilitating the tours booking to Underground River, fireflies watching, Honda Bay or the city tour. The breakfast options they provide are pretty varied (and delicious), with the request to announce latest the evening before. If I happen to come again to Puerto Princesa, I'd definitely book again at Cleon Villas Pension ❤️

Area is quiet, friendly staff, laundromat service nearby, a few local eatery, main shopping mall is 1km away, room is very clean,feels like a villa, gated, a few options on the menu for breakfast, neat houses that stands on a pond with goldfish, very close to airport. This place is great for layovers for a few days in PPS.

It is not a dislike, but there’s not much to do inside the compound if you want a vibing area.
