+ Room size was good + The family operating the hotel is kind and helpful, they even gave us a lift to the airport + Useful and nice terrace area for each room which also gives a little feeling of privacy

- There was no WiFi on our first two days and I understand that it was the provider's fault but still it was inconvenient and infuriating that we had pay for extra mobile data because the hotel couldn't provide the promised service (and no compensation of course) - I'd rather opted for a cheaper stay without breakfast in hindsight but overall it was good that we could eat something even if it was very early in the morning before going to different tours - No cleaning during our 3 nights stay - There's no asphalt rode on the street but the building is nice and neighborhood is okay as well

We stayed at this family-run pension for three days, and due to our special situation with visa issues, we extended our stay twice and experienced two different rooms. Both were impeccably clean and comfortable. The fridge, antibacterial soap, shampoo, and conditioner were major bonuses for us. Mr. and Mrs. Torres were extremely supportive and helpful throughout our stay. They even went above and beyond by taking us to the airport at 5 am! Thank you so much 🙏🏻

Just a heads-up: If you have large luggage, I recommend arranging your transfer to drop you off at the pension’s door, as it is located in an unpaved alley, making it a bit difficult to drag your bags. We weren’t able to do that, but the staff kindly helped us, which we greatly appreciated.

It is a perfect place to stay in Puerto Princesa at a great price. The location is super convenient, it's very close to the airport and a SM, which is fabulous. The size of the room is excellent, and the condition of the bathroom as well. The air conditioning is new, there is a fridge and a wardrobe, nothing is missing. There is also a lovely little terrace where you can have breakfast in the morning and spend some time reading and relaxing. Leny and his family are absolutely charming and attentive. They have been helpful at all times and have always had a smile on their face. Excellent in every way, thank you very much. :)

A pity we only stayed two nights. When we come back, we will definitely repeat. :)

This was the cleanest stay we had in Palawan. And hosts were the nicest hosts we had during all of our Palawan travel. We were flying home next day and the host asked at what time we will wake up and what time we need to leave and to our surprise, we were offered a ride to the airport when we were checking out. How lovely and kind! Also the room was spotless and so clean. First stay we even had a fridge, free water and a kettle. Look up Palaweño brewery where you can walk for just about 20 mins. It is a first female owned brewery in the Philippines! There are some darts to play and other cool games. What a great location to stay in! Close to the airport and other fun places to visit before or after your flight :)

Very friendly and helpful staff. The best 'mom and pop' b&b i have stayed at in years. VERY CLEAN! Amazingly well planned layout of room and facilities. Better wifi access than most hotels. Not in main traffic area soquiet, but quite walkable (<1/2 km) from shops and restaurants. A 9 is a under-score, but 10 would be too much. The 9.8 rating is about right. If they figured out a practical way to deal with the hot water, it would be 10+.

Would have liked hotter hot water for shower. But it was ok given energy costs and what i expect are infrastructure limits in the town.

Mhel was absolutely amazing! She even drove me herself to a few of my tours and back, never asking anything in return. A couple staying there had severe food poisoning from street food, and she went into town and bought them supplies! She gave me wonderful suggestions on what to do. It's clear that this is not just a way to pay the bills for her but a true passion. There facilities were nice, and the room was comfortable. It's a great value!

The water pressure was a little weak, but it's the same as nearly every place I've stayed at in both Palawan and Bohol.

I loved everything about my stay in Golden Pension House. This was the perfect place to stay in Puerto Princesa and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The room was so clean- the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. The facilities were excellent, and the room had a small fridge, mineral water and a kettle. I also loved the terrace outside and enjoyed my breakfast there. The staff were so wonderful, welcoming and helpful. They are the best hosts. The husband very kindly dropped me off at the airport, which I appreciated so much. The women took my breakfast order the day before, and they delivered the breakfast to my room. There is a lovely food court a short walk away if you arrive in the evening like I did and need to eat dinner. I felt so safe and secure while staying there. Overall, a 10/10 experience for me. Thank you for a comfortable stay!

There was nothing I didn't like. It would be good to have a small hand towel for hand washing in the bathroom and maybe an option of some fruit for breakfast but this is me being very picky. I loved my stay here and I would stay again in the future.

Highly recommend this place! We were able to walk there from the airport in 20 min and it's only 3 min by car. Very near the main street, bay walk and the mall/groceries. Our room was very clean, the AC was cold and the shower worked wonderfully. It even has a refrigerator to keep your drinks nice and cold. Our hosts were very accommodating, letting us drop off our luggage early and stay a little late in our air conditioned room while we waited for our transport. They were super friendly and informative as well. Great spot close to the airport that has everything you need.

The room is huge. It looks like it has been renovated a little while ago. The breakfast includes the price is okey and they serve it at your room. The owners are super friendly. You can book your day trips and van to El Nido from here. The location is good, next to the main roads where you have lots of restaurants, shops, spas and a huge shopping center.

They have a plastic cover on the mattress, I understand why but it’s not the most comfortable. If they would have a pool, the place would be perfect!

The owner is incredibly helpful. The room was really nice (compared to some we had stayed in, at comparable prices). The breakfast arrangements were well organised.

The communication around one of the trips that had been arranged could have been better - as we ended up getting up an hour earlier than we needed to. It would also be nice to have a communal space - as the accommodation is set up in a way that you don't have an opportunity to interact with other guests at all.
