The pool was great, really friendly and knowledgeable staff and the free coffee and breakfast was lovely. The hotel also offer tours and airport drop off. The room was very basic but comfortable and it had a television. Offered value for money for the purpose of our stay.

There was no safe in our room Our room faced the pool and the windows did not have privacy film meaning we had to keep the curtains closed for the duration of our stay. The bathroom was a wet room so everything got wet when you had a shower. No bathroom storage.

They were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to messages. The location was just a block away from the activity we needed to attend. It was conveniently located near the market, a mall, restaurants, the waterfront, church besides other stores without actually being on the Main Street so it wasn’t noisy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They offer pick up to and from the airport which is very reasonably priced. The breakfast was filling and very good. They also have a side bar for juices and coffee. A water dispenser was also available. There is a pool which we, unfortunately, were not able to try because we were so busy.

Nothing…but the room and bathroom we got were a bit small. We got one of the regular sized rooms, I think there were bigger ones, I just didn’t think an upgrade was needed since there were only two of us. So if there would be more than two people in a room just make sure to get one of their bigger ones.

I travelled with my wife and 2 kids (9,6 yo). We chose this place as it was only for a very short stay of 1-2 nights. We traveled from Port Barton to Puerto Princesa to experience the Underground River—amazing! This was our accommodation before we headed to Manila. The room is basic enough. The bathroom is tiny, but it sufficed. The pool is good to have with kids. We got a room upstairs; next time I would opt for a room downstairs. The steps can be a challenge as these are higher than normal steps and can get slippery, especially with the pool nearby. It's easy to get a tuk-tuk to the airport, shops, and restaurants. I paid for 2 tuk-tuks for us as we had a lot of luggage to the airport. The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. The cook made extra bacon for my kids and was very helpful.

The bathroom is super tiny. Steps can be challenging - high and can get slippery when wet - especially if people are coming from the pool.

The nice and always smiley staff, the good position only 10mins walking distance from the baywalk, the good breakfast with fresh coffee from the machine, the swimming pool… a nice stay for the price we paid. And our bed was comfortable.

Bedrooms and toilet are too small for 2 and we didn’t know where to hang our clothes. Only a small wardrobe on a small corner but clothes couldn’t dry. The shower was good, hot shower and good pressure but water always on the floor, because of the wrong pavement slope.. so toilet was always wet. All room’s windows are facing the pool, so if you open the curtains everybody passing by can watch inside, but we didn’t care too much of this. But sometimes there were some small ants on the bed and walls.. even if we paid attention to not leave our food stuff inside the room there were always a few small ants a little bit around. Good for one-two nights stay.

The owner couldn't do enough for us , reserving a ground floor room,. booking trips, taxing us, assisting me with my disabled scooter. Nothing was to much trouble. The staff are very friendly and helpful, on arrival the owner placed our luggage in the room right by the pool and ushered us to dinning area to take free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, there were 4 choices of complimentary breakfast, all served with such care. You could ask for other food if you not like whats on offer. The pool was spotlessly clean.the pumps running all the time. The staff clean it every day. The hammocks by the pool and upstairs were real comfy. Good location 5 mins walk to town SM and other stores. Street Market. Close to ferry port and the airport both just a few mins by car. We booked one night initially and kept extending to a total of 5 night. The owner organised a massage for us in our room. 500php/hour.

There was nothing to dislike.

This property is a hidden gem! Perfectly located near SM and the baywalk, it’s just a quick 5-minute tuk-tuk ride from/to the airport—talk about convenience! To top it all off, you can unwind and relax in the inviting pool and sleep in the comfortable bed. Truly, everything you need is right here!

The occasional noise at midnight, when guests arrive, can be a bit noticeable—mainly conversations in the hallway or the sound of luggage being dragged. However, it’s usually brief and doesn’t disrupt the overall stay. A small tip for fellow travelers: lifting your luggage instead of dragging it and keeping voices low in the hallways can go a long way in ensuring a peaceful environment for everyone.

This hotel had the feel good factor from the moment we arrived and met by the owner who couldn't do enough for us. I'm a disabled male 73 my wife and I txt in advanced for a ground floor room, we recived a text , room reserved. On arrival was given a room right by the restaurant/pool perfect for me. We were invited to take unlimitef free coffee or tea "we don't drink either but what a nice gesture " then offered the complementary free breakfast choice of 4 options each day. Served with such care to detail by Ninoi and his wife. The pool was cleaned every day the filter pumps running for hours. The room was small clean and basic. Good WiFi We booked 1 night and extended to 5 nights. The owner offered us moto scooter at 500php/day or car at 1500php/day. The owner even booked a lady to come to our room and massage my wife and I. He booked us the famous sea cave tour, unfortunately cancelled due to Typhoon :-( Our flight was early morning , needed to be at the airport for 5.30am the owner was waiting for us 10 minutes early and dropped us right outside departures . We highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing to dislike

The place was very clean with friendly staff. The TV had a lot of channels both in Tagalog and English. I was able to catch NFL games during the stay. I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Puerto Princesa. I enjoyed use of the pool two nights I was there. The pool was clean and very relaxing. There was not a large number of people staying there which made it nice. The morning breakfast is cooked to order. The Bay Walk in a 10 minute walk at most. They famous 89 Cafe is a five minute walk. The Palawan Brewery is a five minute walk. We walked to Jollibee's in ten minutes and 5 minutes from Jollibee's on the same road is the SM Mall.

Only thing that would of made it perfect across the board is that there is no mini refrigerator or hair dyer in the rooms. For the price that is was ok. They have low prices and give you a clean room to sleep in with clean property.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was small but it included fresh fruit, yum. Good location close to some food and bar options. The pool was a huge asset. What a luxury. They responded quickly to messages and booked tours for me. The size of the room was good with AC and a hot water shower.

The room was clean but not spotless, especially the sheets could do with a refresh. The shower makes the whole bathroom wet which would be ok except the floor slopes away from the drain. Not ideal but also not a big problem.

I did a mistake in booking with the date (my mistake) but then, Sir Bert of Mariners Pension house helped us to find a solution with our problem. He even accompanied us to a other place. He even offered us to stay in the receiving area of their establishment with generous gesture. He is a very honest man (and help us with the refund) and very kind indeed, the staff are so polite and helpful too. The facilities are excellent and in a very good location.
