I had a great stay at this hotel in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. The structure and design, made of wood, gave it a warm and cozy feel. The room was comfortable, with a nice bed, side table, air conditioning, and all the necessary items. The washroom was clean, which was a big plus. Breakfast was very good, and the view made it even better. The staff was friendly and always ready to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

What a beautifully landscaped and designed rooms and the building. It is close enough to walk to the Boardwalk by the water, 10 minutes. The room and facility has a very island motif. Heavy dark stained wood on the floors. Palm matting on the walls and overhead. The rooms have the most comfortable beds that my wife and I have slept in while in the Philippines. Netflix on the TV was a nice touch. Oh, the staff was helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. Great scenic top floor dining area.

The water pressure was low. Not uncommon in the Philippines but.... Breakfast was good but it is the same everyday.

The people who work there were just amazing. Always going above and beyond to make our every wish happen. They are super kind. The place looks very cool and has pretty view from breakfast launch

The fridge was not working and it was hard to managed temperature in the shower. Besides this everything was great. It’s close to the airport but planes landing during decent hours so one can sleep peacefully

I spent 17 days at the Hotel Puerto Pension. I felt at home. The staff, whether at breakfast (thanks Marko and team) or at reception (thanks Christine and team) always looked after me very well, always helpful with information about trips on Palawan or other questions (good tips). I will definitely visit the beautiful island again and spend my next vacation with the friendly staff at Puerto Pension. Thank you all very much.

The remote control for the television.

The space is the perfect combination of old and new! I would recommend the higher floors as they have the view of the bay. I chose the ground level which was also good but it didn't have the view. EDIT: the breakfast is simple but very good! And getting fresh brewed coffee you get a full carafe of coffee I couldn't finish it! Good coffee!!!

The instant hot water heater for the shower takes some getting used to

The location was great to discover the town and in walkable distance to the sights and restaurants. The staff were so friendly and assisted us in booking tours and giving us information on the local Church times etc

The room was full of mosquitoes when we arrived and I asked for a spray and they gave me one to eradicate the mosquitoes. The plumbing was not working properly but it was dealt with immediately.

The whole place is built on the theme of traditional Philippine homes with bamboo and banana leaf pseudo construction… very attractive. The staff was friendly and the in room massage was great after a 4 day Expedia and a whole day traveling in boats and vans. Free breakfast was nice too. The location is near the bay walk which is nice.

The AC did not work until i jiggled some wires and the hot water didn’t work at all though I’m sure it would have been fixed if I asked…

Staff were really friendly and spoke great English. There are 4 trips you can arrange from reception cheaper than Klook or other booking sites. Breakfast was lovely, they did amazing pancakes for my girls! Garden was nice to sit in at night. Air con in rooms was brilliant. WiFi worked well. Would stay again.

Nice decoration and comfortable bed for one night. Bathroom with window. We even got breakfast as takeaway due to an early morning flight. The view from breakfast room on top is very very nice.

Pictures are taken with open door. There are actually no windows in the room for daylight. Basin and mirror in bathroom should be repaired or replaced. Be aware of thousands of mosquitos - fan alone is not sufficient enough

Staff was super friendly and approachable. From the start the receptionist lady was very chatty and smiley. This is a fresh approach as in our holiday here in the Philippines we stayed in hotels where we were missing this positive vibes and Filipino smile :)! Breakfast was very nice and had a nice view from the top. Garden is nice to relax with a beer. Hotel helps you with your questions and helps you arrange tricycles.

Only advice is to do something about the mosquitoes in the room. There were quite a few and I was bitten a lot. Also, the room photos show a smart flat screen tv, but we had a big CRT TV from the 90s that was loosen and not screwed properly which is dangerous. Edit the photos of the room to show the oldschool tv and screw it more secure.
