I liked the location very much, just inside the walls of Spello but quiet and with a magnificent view on the Umbrian hills. Very interesting old building with 6 or 7 levels, antique and stylish interior. Well maintained. Room small but comfy and with very good beds (albeit a little short for a man of 1,93 mtr. Good bathroom. On the lowest level a cute little pool with some 10 sun beds. Not much but very comfortable for an hour sun. We enjoyed it thoroughly, in between all our city walks. Very nice breakfast room and great outdoor dinner terrace.

Very little, for this price category and on this location in a truly lovely medieval village like Spello, this is a gem. Could have a little more staff. The complainers should choose an uptown city Marriott.

Location is perfect. Facilities clean and beautiful. The staff were lovely. When we arrived we discovered we had no electricity (no aircon) in our room. They kindly offered us a new room which ended up as an upgrade. This was so greatly appreciated as we had just finished our first day driving on the opposite side and our hire car overheating, we were exhausted. We stayed 6 nights, breakfast was delicious, Pool was clean with amazing views and room was comfortable.

The location and views were amazing. Spello is definitely worth a visit. The pool was lovely but quite busy so there were no chairs available. The room was comfortable and a decent size.

We were disappointed with the restaurant at the hotel. The staff person serving us was not very friendly and attentive. We asked for salt and pepper and he never came back with it and when I asked for some recommendations for wine he was also a bit dismissive. The food was decent but would have expected more for the prices.

We had a lovely room by the pool. It was extremely hot over the few days we were there and so we appreciated the coolness of the room.

It wasn’t a big problem but there were some communication issues with the restaurant booking on the night we wanted to have a meal in the hotel. It’s worth noting for people with mobility issues or a lot of baggage that there are no lifts.

The front desk support was exceptional. The hotel is beautiful with a lovely view. The room was clean and spacious.

There is no parking. Do not follow google directions. The restaurant and restaurant service was not good. I hope it improves and they hire help because if the restaurant was functional and good it would make this a wonderful place to stay. There are a lot of steps in and out, like everywhere in Spello, so if you have mobility challenges, this is not an easy hotel for you.

Very clean, comfortable bed, outstanding breakfast, pleasant and helpful staff, excellent massage, a large terrace to enjoy the beautiful view. There’s a spa area and swimming pool too.

It’s unfortunate that there is no longer a restaurant in the hotel, because there are not many restaurants close by and some were closed. In winter, this is an issue. It’s far on foot from the station and the pillows are hard (common in Italian hotels, it seems).

Great location. Rooms are very nice. Good breakfast.

Staff was stand-offish. No elevator makes getting to rooms with luggage very difficult for older people. Parking to unload luggage can be difficult. Hotel Parking is expensive. No staff to assist with luggage.

The rooms were very comfortable, 3 rooms were booked and 7 guests and all very comfortable, staff at breakfast accommodated our needs. The staff overall very helpful especially with helping us arrange taxis on a number of occasions. Some of the our party also used the spa they said it was amazing

Fantastic location - perfect for doing Via San Francesco. Great swimming pool. Very friendly, helpful staff, and fabulous breakfast. Good sized room with terrace. Outstanding views over the Umbrian countryside.

1) Staff refused to open the patio umbrellas on a lovely sunny day. 2) Nice Hotel but could do with a little updating. It's looking a little shop-worn.
