Loved how close it was to Shizuoka Station. The view was great too. Staff were lovely, and rooms very clean.

There was only 1 pillow each on the king size bed. Two pillows each would be nice, plus the pillow was like a rock, however, this seems pretty common everywhere we have stayed in Japan. We dined in the restaurant each morning for breakfast, the food was good value for money. The only thing was the hot food was often cold, they need better heaters/food warmers.

Very well priced hotel so please select a corner suite on a high floor with the most incredible views you will ever see. The price is reasonable and you will enjoy every second of those captivating mountains and city views. You won’t want to leave as you’re taking your best photos from your bed, and doing your best sightseeing. We also had one of our best dinners ever in the Chinise restaurant. Beautiful food and service, and easy to walk home.

As most hotels in Japan we wish they could understand English to the extent they could show us the great attractions to visit. Take this bus etc etc. But we found that everywhere in Japan. They were friendly and helpful in other ways. We we welcomed very warmly so a little English does go a long way.

Grand Hills is a businessman hotel. Many conveniences. Has a cafe and restaurant. Located close to Shizuoka Train Station. I enjoyed their breakfast. There were western style items & traditional Japanese items. Everything was made with great care, plus you can get as much as you like.

The room was a little dated. Some of the furniture had stains and the wallpaper was peeling the edge of the window sill. Grand Hills hotel was lower in price than other comparable hotels in the downtown area so the value was good. The room was clean & comfortable.

The Hotel is beautiful, staff are excellent. Its a very clean hotel and very well maintained. Its a great location and has many great restaurants locally and right over the road from the train station. Breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of food on offer, it gets busy quickly, so getting there early is advised.

Eating outside the hotel does have its problems IF you are a group of 5 or more. Very few places to eat with a group. The Hotel restaurant doesn't open very late and doesn't allow walk-ins, even from residents.

It is extremely close to Shizuoka station. The breakfast buffet was very nice. Staff were very professional. Rooms were a good size and great views over the city. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant and the restaurant was beautiful and the meal was exceptional.

Though very clean, the interior could do with a refurb. In our dreams, the hotel would have a big onsen bath on the top floor. I couldn't complain about anything else.

Stayed for one night to break up the trip from Hiroshima to Tokyo. Was a lovely hotel with a bar on the top floor. The views from the room were great and right next to the train station was a bonus. The rooms were spacious and had absolutely everything you need. The beds were comfortable too.

Very close to the Shizuoka Station, The room is perfect with awesome view (I was in 20th floor) I also could see the Mount Fuji from the outside window of my rooms (also from the elevator!) that's a great bonus.

Though my room is not directly facing the mount fuji but I could see it from the elevator (on my way up/down) and from the window near the elevator. The hotel location is literarily a min walk from the station since it's right in front it

The location was excellent and the staff were helpful and professional. The rooms were clean. Some rooms may have a nice view of Mt. Fuji.

The buffet breakfast did not match my expectations. While the drinks and breads were delicious, the cooked food could have been better.

Really just next to Shizuoka Train Station, and high grade level business hotel surrounded by business entities, local good restaurants and Japanese Izakayas. This hotel would be a very high quality high grade business hotel.

A very well maintained hotel across the street from the train station. The corner deluxe twin room had an amazing panoramic view of Shizuoka. The staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent (ice cream in three flavors!!!)
