The owner Limbo is great...he waited for my late check in when my plane was late and my arrival delayed...he knocks on doors and announces "housekeeping" and goes in only when you say something...cleans and changes the beds and bins etc around 11:30 and check out is 11...very quick and thoroughly...gives you a tour of the place and kitchen...coffee, bread, jam, eggs, cold water, daily towels, hairdryer, free laundry....all is available here...and great customer service and care...he also gives you instructions how to get to there, via email

I stayed in a private room with private bathroom and an equipped kitchen, the room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable. On the ground floor there is a common kitchen-well equipped and a small dining room, there is also a washing machine for the guests to use. There is a nice common area where we watched a movie and just hung out. In the common kitchen there are complementary bread, eggs, butter, jam and coffee so you can fix yourself a nice breakfast. The hostel is less than one minute walk from the sea, few minutes walk to a beach where you can access the water. Within 5 min walk there are: restaurants, convenience stores, bakery, public transportation. There are many attractions around the area: Sanbang mountain (about 20 minutes walk), Cheonjeyeon Falls (about 30 minutes by bus), hiking trails, museums, lookout points etc. Limbo, the owner, is very nice and welcoming, I arrived at 10:00 am and I was able to do an early check-in, I asked Limbo about the dolphins boat and he immediately called to check if there is a seat available on the next boat. The place is well maintained, clean and pleasant. I really enjoyed my time here so I extend my stay (11 nights in total).

Super chilled. Limbo, the owner, is a great guy, speaks fluent English with you and is always in a good mood. The area has quite a few attractions that can be reached by foot (long walks). The outside area is a great space to hangout any time of the day and you have free breakfast (cook it yourself) as well as free clean towels every day. Not very sociable but the people you meet are really nice, it seems to attract a good vibe. Super comfy beds and everything is very clean. It was quiet when I stayed there which I really enjoyed.

No lockers and no curtains in bunkbeds, this would be an improvement. Nothing to do with the accommodation but it's worth mentioning that it's not a well connected area by public transport, it's actually quite maddening. From Seogwipo, you can be anywhere in the island within a day but from this location it takes you ages to get anywhere and it's super unreliable and buses terminate quite early at times (like, 7pm), so you want to stay in the area or get your own transport if you want to go outside the area.

It was very clean, breakfast was good, drying rack for cloths was in the room, close to the bus stop and the beach. The owner was very friendly and went over everything for the facility when checking in. He cleaned the rooms daily, brought fresh towels, and when a mosquito got in the room he took care of it with a cool bug zapper.

Everything was very clean, very friendly owner, room had air conditioning and the hostel was generally very well equipped especially the balcony I found very nice. Also GS25 only a few hundred meters away to get small things.

A few little things could have been better like more dishes in the kitchen and the pan urgently needs to be replaced and it is to be considered that the accommodation is relatively remote if you are dependent on public transport and Uber.

For just $13, I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The dorm bed was comfortable, and breakfast was included—a nice bonus. It seemed I visited during the low season, as the hostel was nearly empty, which made for a quiet and peaceful stay. Overall, excellent value for the price.

The only downside was that the hostel is a bit far from the bus stop

The immediate area is a quiet place to settle down and take it easy, but there's enough to do nearby. We took a long walk to Songak Park, a surfing lesson, a walk to Yongmeori Beach, and a visit to the Sangbansan Carbonate Hot Springs, and there are plenty of restaurants around. I valued the place being closer to nature, and Sangbansan Mtn in the background is very pretty. The host, Limbo, is a friendly and helpful guy. The hostel felt more authentic Korean than others I've been to, and most of the guests were Korean.

The rooms and showers weren't super warm when the weather got colder, but the beds were very warm and comfy. The location is a little out of the way. As a solo foreign traveller, if I hadn't made a couple of friends there, I might have felt a bit isolated.

Limbo is a super host. The hostel is great to go out and walk around the island.

Be warned without a car it is hard to access. I had to wait a couple of hours at the airport and there are very few backpackers there at the moment.

Limbo was a wonderful host. He clearly knows how to provide a smooth and enjoyable stay for his guests — there are guidebooks in the office for food recommendations, a lounge full of misc supplies for any activity you’d like, all of the included amenities were clean and well-functioning, and he was very friendly and hospitable overall. The location is spectacular with a short (under five minutes) walk to the beach!

My only concern was that the dorm didn’t have any type of lockers for each guest to store their stuff in. It may have been because I was coincidentally the only guest in the dorm that night, but if I were sharing the dove with anyone else, I would be concerned about being able to safely and reliably store my belongings with a key

I have stayed at many guesthouse in Korea and had some questionable experiences with guesthouse owners - but this owner was so lovely! Hands down the chillest guesthouse owner I have met. The guesthouse is located in a really good location if you want to slow down and enjoy the scenery of Jeju-do. My favourite place was the outside room where I could watch the sunrise. The facilities were basic but had everything you needed + the blanket given during winter time was really warm!

If only there was privacy curtains in the dorms, this was my only wish.
