The condo was exactly as described: roomy, clean, comfortable, well-stocked with linen and in the kitchen, and in a great location. It had such a charming feel to it. Our family loved the extra space, especially having a living room in which to visit and relax without disturbing those who wanted to sleep. You would not be able to do this in a hotel room because you'd have to go to the lobby downstairs with no privacy. We bought a couple of bottles of wine from a bodega within walking distance and enjoyed it on the rooftop terrace with views of the St Lawrence river in front of you and the Chateau Frontenac behind you. The location was perfect for us since it was within the old town and only 1.3 miles from the terminal for our cruise departure. We even did some laundry in the condo before our embarkation onto the ship. The price for Le Champlain, a 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo, was comparable to 3 hotel rooms on Rue St. Anne.

I appreciated meeting our host in person and having him show us the condo and letting us know about the unit and surrounding areas. There is not anything I did not like about Royal Dalhousie!!

The space was perfect for 3 couples comfortably. Loved that there were 3 baths and lots of towels. Each bath had toiletries and a hair dryer. Nice touches. There was plenty of room to hang out for the 6 of us. Property was beautiful with great views and we were able to walk everywhere.

One of the en suite bathrooms had no door on the water closet and the main bathroom had a broken pocket door. Even when we were able to get the door closed it was lightly textured glass! The other bathrooms at least had doors for the toilet. Wasn't thrilled with the lack of privacy in that bathroom but we made it work. It seemed like something that could easily be rectified.

The location was absolutely perfect! We had a beautiful view of the water from the living room, a great view of the Frontenac Hotel from the rooftop deck, and could walk a few minutes to great places to eat. We could walk to all of the main attractions easily, well with a little effort since there’s a good bit of steps to climb. We were also close to the funicular if you didn’t want to do all of those steps, which came in handy for some in our group. Also, the owner and his brother were so pleasant and helpful 😊 I would highly recommend staying here.

This is a great location with easy access to the lower old Quebec shops and restaurants and history. It’s a good walk up to see more landmarks and museums. If you are starting or ending a cruise in Quebec City, this is the perfect spot. The apartment it self connects two large suites and a bedroom by a very large dining, kitchen and living room space. The hosts are very pleasant and are very proud of what Quebec City has to offer.

There are minor deficiencies that come with time for hotels, and this is no different. Any concern is rapidly addressed.

Fantastic location overlooking St Lawrence river in lower part of Old Town. The 3 bedroom Le Cartier apartment was stunning and absolutely huge with fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer and large living space. Our teens each got their own room and it had 2 full bathrooms. Great location and shared rooftop with perfect view of Les Grands Feux fireworks (Thursdays in August). Managers super nice and convenient parking available for a fee. Great air conditioning in heat of Summer.

It was amazing. Could hear a bit of street noise until it quietened down at night.

Big, beautiful and so well appointed to the art work on the wall, amazing wooden flooring, three bathrooms and the bedrooms were exquisite. The living room looking out on the park and the river was amazing! We played many games and had many great meals in the well appointed kitchen and dining room. Loved the brick work, Murphy bed, and separate seating and work areas. Staff was superb!

We stayed at Royal Dalhousie as a family of five, and found the apartments perfectly located, well-appointed and spacious. Lilian hosted us very nicely and helped deal promptly with a couple of minor hiccups. A perfect solution for a travelling family (even better when the parents can walk 50m to the excellent Restaurant Tanière for a special date night!)

The apartment was well appointed and clean. It was the perfect size for our family of 5 (all adults). The apartment was in a perfect location to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. We had a great view of the river. It is on a busy road and we could hear some traffic but it would not deter me from renting this apartment again. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were good size.

I would have liked a few throws for the couches.

Location was perfect.. very walkable. Loved the apartment . It was spacious and Provided beautiful views of the river. Would definitely stay there again!

Would be nice if the master bath had a door or curtain on it..for more privacy

The property was FABULOUS! The location was perfect and beautiful. The owner and staff were very accommodating and kind. It has every amenity, no detail overlooked. We are a family that likes luxury and SPACE, this was both! Look no further!
