First off, the value is amazing. You don’t get this kind of experience usually for twice the price. The location is remote and quiet, the facilities and landscape are beautiful, the staff is warm and attentive, and the food is amazing, reasonably priced, especially the Thai restaurant. I mean they could gouge you. You’re on an island after all, but they don’t.

The cons: like most hotels in the Philippines, the management hasn’t put in effective processes for the amazing staff to follow. The instructions given to guests are confusing and the staff often doesn’t know the answers or processes to get things done. This is not on them but clearly the management isn’t on the ground to assess and improve the experience. The only other thing is the snorkeling is subpar. They could improve it with some reef restoration. If they took one third the care they spend on the grass around the resort on their reefs, they really could have an amazing place.

Everyone and Everything was fantastic! My Villa was perfect for my taste, providing the right amount of shade outside and the perfect lighting inside. I'm huge on flowers and Aesthetic and having those in my living room, bathroom and patio made all the difference. The pool outside my room was the perfect temperature always and overlooking the ocean which was surrounded by beautiful trees, and natural sounds of ocean waves, coupled with chirping birds. My Butler Greg was FANTASTIC- He paid attention to details and made sure my needs were always met, including suggesting great meals according to my palate. He also got the right angles for my pictures, got a cart for me on time and set up my laundry/alterations. I always felt safe because he was always there, even for my appointments. Even when I fell ill with a cold, he'd check on me frequently and suggest meals and my requested meds to my room to facilitate rest. My first room was very clean thanks to the house keeping staff who refreshed my room daily, Arjay(flowers), Ruthy, Hannah, Dianna and MJ. Thanks for the personable love notes on my bed :) FOOD: You will not be disappointed. The chefs are fantastic and so are the meal choices. Having been there over a week, I still had choices and skipped the Western Restaurant. I dined mostly at the Tariatric Grill (Filipino) and Thai restaurant (steak is fantastic here) and daily breakfast at the Mill. Appreciative staff here include Cherry, Sofia, Shan, Almer and Cyver SPA: Ohhh! Fantastic job by both Marysol (swedish kind since she's softer) and Lyneth (deep tissue/sport for more power). They treated me with respect and such lavish care. Visited at least 3 times since it was a bit pricier. I would have been there daily as I do in Thailand. My driver to the airport, Cember was such great company. He got me there on time. ACTIVITIES: I Mostly rested but there is miniature golf, 3-hole golf, giant chess, tennis and basketball court.

Having neighbors eventually in the adjoining room of the villa. Did not like hearing them Having birds invade the roof at one night. They checked on it immediately after I reported and found a nest. They moved me same day to another room which was okay but not my favorite.

Fact we got a complimentary upgrade to a family villa for last 3 nights, which was fabulous. Just a pity we didn’t get this sooner as we stayed for 9 nights. This is a very luxurious and relaxing place to stay. The staff on the most part are very helpful and friendly. Food and drinks were excellent. But a bit expensive and more choices would’ve been better. Plenty of extra activities but those mostly come at extra costs. Plenty of swimming pools for the kids.

Beach area wasn’t as good as hoped for. Fact I got food poisoning towards the end of my stay. But staff were very attentive and a nurse was quickly sent to my room. I was provided with medication, but it didn’t really work and had to run its course. I was fine again after 36 hours. But this wasn’t a nice experience and meant I couldn’t leave the room as I was too sick during this period. We did though have the family villa to relax in during this time, which helped a lot.

Not only is this a beautiful location it has is built to international standards. It's the people who make the real difference. Our butler Kenneth was superb and having met many of the staff who made us feel special it was sad to leave. We wish to name a few of the team who deserve special mention. Jona's housekeeping team who decorated our room for our wedding anniversary, including Jely & Diane who provided our surprise welcome foot massage. Janel the karaoke champion who seems to be smiling everywhere around the resort along with Kyle, Orlie & Marlon. Thanks also to the managers Gideon & Jeff for making time to meet with us. Exceptional service also from Grace at The Mill, Walter at Ga Ti, Jover from the water sports team & Chef Mayok at Ga Ti also. We look forward to staying again soon.

Whilst the resort do a great job as custodians of this beautiful island and its surrounding marine environment, there needs to be better management by local government of trash in the ocean.

The rooms were great in the sense everything was good quality. The size of the suite was awesome. We had a pool to ourselves. Great for kids. Easy to walk anywhere. The staff were wonderful. There are a lot of things to do: mini golf, small putting green/golf course for adults, basketball and tennis courts. There's a gym and game room. Great place for a wedding. Island also feels very secure.

Despite the rooms being of good quality, there was a leak coming from the roof. We had a few problems with the Aircon and safe, which were fixed. The TV was the worse part: no signal coming in. We also didn't have cushions on our seats outside. There isn't much selection of food either. They should add to that. Despite the staff being very friendly and courteous, service was a bit slow.

My family and I had a wonderful time during our short stay at this resort. The staff were exceptionally friendly and ensured we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Here are the complimentary services we enjoyed: Welcome dance Welcome drinks Access to pools Coconut wine Friday movie nights Wake-up call for sunrise with tea Kayaks (crystal kayaks available for an additional charge) Generous buffet breakfast Ice pops while waiting for boat back to mainland Boat transfers There were also other activities available, though they came with an additional charge. This experience has made me excited to return, whether to this resort or to other Dusit Thani hotels in the Philippines.

The welcome. We were greeted and assissted from the port all the way to our rooms. The complimentary coco juice cooled us right away on arrival at the island. The location. It's a secluded small island where we enjoyed the privacy of it all. It has activities you can opt for, other than the pool. There is also an allocated parking for your car, incase you drive. The villa room with private pool. Spacious enough with complete amenities. Comfy bed and couches. The value of what we paid for was not cheap but it should be worth the time we spent together in peace and privacy overall. Check out went smooth,too.

Could improve more on the staff service in the restaurants. Pay more attention to guest needs and details, not having to come over and over again confirming room numbers and orders. To ensure that food are served warm, if not hot atleast. Clearing of room service chinawares, took forever.

A fantastic resort in an accessible location. The staff are simply amazing and there are no shortage of activities for the entire family. Very well appointed and generously sized Villa's, the option of three different resturaunts is also very pleasing.

The only shortcoming during our stay was some limited menu options due to unavailibilty of produce. It was holy week, so I understand, but I believe this can be avoided with better planning.

I was really surprised on how big and how beautiful this resort is. The pictures on the fb page don't give justice on how pretty this place is. The staff are all very nice, accommodating and polite. Will greet you everytime they see you. And the food is quite good and not that expensive actually. The buffet breakfast has good selection also. The fire dancers were on another level. Really professional! But what we really enjoyed the most was the Sunset Cruise! That was the most memorable part of our visit. Thank you Dusit Thani! We will be back for sure!

Their beach has no waves but has a very calm and nice view.
