Excellent location, the area felt safe and it was walking distance to everything in Valparaiso, including restaurants, bars and the funicular. Breakfast was lovely and served on a terrace, with a stunning view of the harbour and ocean. Lots of hot water, WiFi worked well and it was very clean.

The ground floor rooms were quite noisy, even during the night time, due to poor sound proofing. There is no lift/elevator to higher floors, but this didn't affect us. The bathroom door was heavy and difficult to open/close, and the bathroom smelt of sewage. This could be normal due to the location in the old town though. Despite these, I would stay here again!

Staying at this hotel was a real treat in that it is in a great location, the room I had was just the right size and very comfortable, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The bonus is the restaurant on site which is outstanding and also has a great view of the city.

The breakfast at the restaurant is beyond disappointing. There were only three menu options available which were all sandwiches, all of which were dry and tasteless. I found it hard to believe that the sandwiches came from the same restaurant that serves fantastic meals at nighttime.

Taxi climbed very steep hills. Helpful friendly staff took me to room. Amazing view across Valparaiso harbour and bay to mountains. Left the blinds up. Woke up to view. Nice shower. Nice breakfast. Hotel arranged great city tour. Wonderful knowledgeable insightful guide. Driver skillfully negotiated steep steep hills right up to high points with spectacular views across city and bay. So much info shared about history and culture of Valparaiso.

Couldn't stay long enough to have more of the scrambled eggs for breakfast

The balcony and the view of the port from the room was very nice and enabled us to spend more time in the room during the day when needed. Good internet. The staff were very helpful getting Ubers, and particularly helpful with translation when we had to report an incident to the Police.

The metal stairs up to the room are a bit precarious although we were not required to carry our luggage ourselves. Also a lot of stairs down to the breakfast area and bar. Not much luggage space.

The patio where breakfast was served was a music venue in evening - so quite noisy until about 10pm which was ok but Breakfast was served in same area & just wasn’t that nice a place for breakfast & music over breakfast wasn’t very nice - sweary rap music. It could be changed very easily - put table coverings in tables & change music

When we checked in. They indicated they had no hot water. They allowed us to cancel for free and go elsewhere or take a 30% discount per night while there was no hot water. We choose to stay. No hot water for three nights. Staff were very accommodating

The view from our bedroom was fabulous...loved waking up to an uninterrupted view of the sea and sunrises. We enjoyed the small balcony to sit out on and the delicious pod coffee that was available in our room.

The Boutique hotel offers meals but were disappointed in the soggy fish and chips that were served. The second night we chose a vegetarian burger, which was delicious.

Loved everything about the hotel. However, although the stairs did not affect me - there were several friends who were surprised by the spiral staircase to upper floors and no elevator. The view from the terrace and the food were amazing. I would stay there again. The port was just a ride away - the front desk handled all the details and went beyond helping with the luggage. Considering it all - I give it a 10+. Clean, safe, helpful staff - no fru-fru with a lovely view of the bay.

Great location with parking for my car. Had a room with terrace and lovely view. ALL of the staff was outstanding, especially Ruben, Diego, Alvaro, Daniel, and Abiel!!👍 They also helped me have delicious meals from the restaurant delivered to the terrace because I could not go down the stairs to the restaurant. They all answered my MANY questions (in English) and gave me good suggestions. Delicious hot breakfast was included with my room.

breakfast is served very late from 8:30 am. our room was at the reception level therefore we had a lot of noise from the reception and the restaurant with life music until 22pm. Due to this the room lack of privacy
