Great size room, traditionally decorated which made it feel more authentic. Huge bathroom! The bed was comfortable to sleep in with soft linen. The food changed each meal time so although some parts were buffet, self-serve style, you weren’t eating the same things. All the meals we had were fresh, and delicious - it was great to be able to try some traditional African foods in smaller amounts without worry of waste. The chef was friendly and helpful when serving. The breakfast bag they prepared for our Safari day was amazing - so much in there! Very reasonable drink prices from the bar with plenty of choice. They arranged our safaris without any bother - quick and easy via email before we arrived.

On the first night, it was a little quiet and the staff less attentive, though this improved on the second and third night. Our room was close to reception and the car park so we were woken each morning at 5am by people going on safaris and staff talking.

There was bad cell reception, so there no phone calls. A nice time to rest. The staff is super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfy.

Would have loved the opportunity to choose what to have for dinner.

The game drive and activities with Aaron was excellent. Our family was well taken care of for the duration of our stay. Aaron provided so much knowledge and care for our safari, he wssl extremely patient while we captured photos of a kill by lions. The team took care to book all of our activities, taking away a bit of admin from us. :)

We felt the front of the house team member should respect that guest come for a break away and should be mindful of personal boundaries. This includes making one feel like we are guests and not their chomie.

The location is excellent. The food is good. What lacks is at least having bar fridges inside guest rooms.

They got excellent staff , they went overboard for us during our visits. All of them from receptionist, kitchen staff, garden staff etc were super friendly and helpful. Delicious food.

Living room with games no longer exist but still advertised on the website, garden not as green as per advertised picture, the bar place seems neglected and only few options of drinks available , no cocktails availability. No bar fridge in their rooms. Spa was not functioning during our visit

Wonderful facilities. It is beautiful, and for our first stay in Africa, it felt safe but also authentic. Nice gardens and rooms. The cooking in the kitchen was great, and the pool area and other common facilities were well cared for and relaxing.

It's not the closest location for gates to Kruger, but they manage this well.

The staff are amazing and really accommodated out big family well. The rooms which we were allocated were close to each other and this just made it convenient. The rooms are a good size

The road leading up to the accommodation was being redone. There are quite a few potholes along the route as well, I highly recommend that you take an SUV car for comfort.

The hospitality and service from all staff members was wonderful, this is clearly a large "family" working together. The food was excellent and of a good variety. I was not feeling well and a visit to the local doctor was arranged on a Saturday, again an indication of the service, thank you Karien, you are amazing!

Everything, the setting, the facilities, the service and the people.

I loved the good treatment from the staff. Specifically JABU, busi, Tracy,general and lucky.. cane the maintenance guy went above board to make sure our time by the boma was memorable. I can highly recommend Kubu to individuals and large family groups

The garden seems neglected

The fact that there are no bar fridges in the rooms. All rooms are shower only which is challenging when travelling with kids
