The place is very perfect 👌 for the city escape. Maria and Lungisa treated us very well and they are very friendly. The place is sooooo clean and their food is so fresh and very scrumptious 😋

We didn't like that there was no private in the bathroom (toilet). I wished the toilet was closed in for some privacy. The open plan thing didn't work for me. And we didn't like that our room door was right there in the kitchen like you got waken up by the movement and the noise in the kitchen when they were preparing for the breakfast. That is the part you won't notice on the photos on the website

The food is absolutely amazing, the location is great & the attention to detail is incredible. Reinhardt & Maria are extremely welcoming hosts. The game drives offered is something you will remember for a lifetime. Thank you very much to the Rafiki Bush Lodge, we hope to visit again really soon! If you’re looking for a peaceful stay, close to the Kruger, this is the place to be.

Our stay was incredible, 5 star luxury from start to finish. The food was amazing, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the rooms had everything we needed. Maria and Reinhardt were extremely kind and helpful with anything we needed and provided great information on Kruger NP and surrounding area. All of the staff were kind and no ask was too much. I highly highly recommend.

Nothing - great place to stay

My partner and I chose Rafiki Bush Lodge as our accommodation in Hoedspruit to attend a wedding. Reinhardt and Maria are exceptional hosts and were more than happy to help us out with all of our requests. The room was very spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Staying here was the perfect start to our holiday and we both were very relaxed. The food cooked/ included was beautiful and very tasty with good portion sizes and variety. Reinhardt's Safari game drives were also exceptional with us seeing plenty of game and learning a lot from the guides. We will definitely be back!

This place is beautiful/modern and clean.It looks better than in pictures. Everything they have from furniture to cuttlery was well thought about before it was picked. It is a home like setup. TV is in the lounge. They have an honest fridge/drink station in the kitchen. You can use this whenever you are in need of a drink. The host (Ouma) is amazing. Lungi (the food guy) fed us good... dinner and breakfast were included in our booking, you are allowed to have 2nds, 3rds etc 😋. They cook clean, which I loved....no overwhelming flavors. No noise after 10 pm. The family lives upstairs.They light up fire at the boma from 6 pm daily. We had a Warthog visit one morning at breakfast 😊. If you need to relax at a home away from home, this is your place. I would also recommend it for solo travelers, families with young kids would love this....couples and friends would enjoy this. I'm going back. To relax and plan my life.

The peace and tranquility of this lodge was magnificent. Found inside the beautiful Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, Rafiki Lodge was an ideal way to break away from the noise of the big city and retreat into nature for some much needed rest and relaxation.

Everything was wonderful. Nothing more to add.

Such a beautiful home. Kudos & thanking Maria & her husband for some great hospitality. Maria ensured to prepare yummy meals and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The property is located in a great spot amidst the jungles.

The outside shower was absolutely amazing. The place is clean, the staff is very friendly, the food prepared by Lungisani is delicious, and the ambience is breathtaking.

Basically everything. Very clean, very cool, like to be home. Staff is very kind and capable.
