The room was amazing. The bed & pillows were comfortable & the linen clean & soft. It is a very intimate & cozy place. Gary is amazing. He goes all out to make sure the guests are comfortable. The establishment is classy and clean.

The fact that you have to pay a penalty of R70 for every hour after 8 until you get there caught me off-site. Life happens, especially in Johannesburg. I would have liked to arrive earlier, but it was beyond my control.

Literally everything was great! I could not have wished for a better way to experience the South African hospitality and the bush life. Thanks to our hosts Nyarai and Tawanda, who took great care of us and our wishes/needs before and during our stay, we had a carefree and super comfortable experience. The safaris and tours they booked for us were amazing and really saved us a lot of time looking for good and reliable tour guides. Leave it to them, they really know what they are doing and they will not disappoint! The foods prepared by the chefs were amazing, a true pleasure for the tastebuds. Gluten free dinners were no problem at all and it was much more than just some plain and simple dishes, but truly culinary treats for the soul. The room was in super condition, modern but with respect for the bush surrounding the area. Very good and modern amenities inside the room and the lodge. Sometimes some animals passed the accommodation and that really felt like watching a documentary, but then in real life. Even being able to watch the animals passing by from our bed through the big glass sliding door is something that never gets boring. Great swimming pool and watch tower from where you could see the surrounding area and witness the beautiful sunrise while listening to the peaceful animal sounds coming to life more and more every minute it gets lighter. After dinner we had camp fires, where we could sit and enjoy each other’s company. This was a huge plus because these moments create the best conversations and memories with each other. All together we can say that this is something we will talk about for a very long time. There is much more to see here and the staff made us feel like family, so both are definitely worth coming back and we definitely will. We give this place an 11 out of 10!

The location of the lodge is in a gated community, so very safe. We were the only guests, but everything was available, done for us, the chef prepared the meal just for us, great treatment. The room was spacious and comfy, nice view to the nature. We had a drink after dinner (you pay extra, but very reasonable prices), everything very nice.

If you like to go to a bar in the evening, this is difficult here (or you have to take the car). While you can have drinks directly there, at 20.30h/21.00h everything stops/closes (typical South Africa....) The dinner was very good, with the exception that we asked for a rare steak and got it well done.

From the start, their communication was exceptional—they are incredibly responsive and ensured every detail was taken care of. They went above and beyond to adhere to our dietary requirements, which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast and dinner were highlights of my stay, offering fine dining quality meals that exceeded my expectations. The rooms were exactly as depicted in the pictures—beautiful and well-maintained. I especially loved the outside shower, which added a unique and refreshing touch. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The lodge’s location is perfect, offering both convenience and a serene escape. The staff were outstanding—warm, accommodating, and always ready to assist. Overall, I had an unforgettable experience and highly recommend Moya Safari Lodge and Villa to anyone seeking comfort, luxury, and excellent service.

I loved everything

All buidlings and rooms were new and had aircon. They are located in a small wildlife reserve which you can only access via code I was already able to see some animals during my stay. The stuff was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was good but limited in options.

The 3-course dinner was quiet expensive but good and freshly cooked but I wasn't ask if I want to drink something. The breakfast was only until 9am, which didn't allow to sleep in

The location & style of the accommodation were perfect and so romantic. Nyarai and the staff were nice and gentle! Our stay was so great we wouldn’t leave and will come back for sure as soon as we can. The cuisine on offer at Moya is so delicate and sophisticated, with a chef and his assistant who take the time to explain everything and lead the way with brio! We enjoyed every moment of it. Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, where the Moya is, is really safe and you can see many animals 🤩 Thank you Nyarai and the team! You rock 🤩

Me and my partner loveeddd everything about the place ,the place is very clean and beautiful, we booked the place to go celebrate Father's day and his Birthday. it was worth it. We loved the food thank you Chef,and the host he was really helpful .

The place is situated in an amazing location. It's quiet enough and not scary as you would expect in the bushes. The staff is very welcoming, their chef cooks super amazing delicious food. Overall it's a beautiful place. Definitely worth your coins

Was the only guest, and the chef was amazing cooking for one! I'm very glad the hotel offered me the opportunity to pre-book the meal as location seemed remote. Chef was very pleasant and interacted. Beautiful room with doors out onto patio.

Pool had a hose through it, but was fine to dip into.

Has an exceptional experience, from the warm reception by Gerry, the chef prepared most delicious meals to the cleaning ladies who made sure that our room was clean, linens, towels and gowns. The staff truly enjoys what they do 💕💕
