Great location, only a short walk to the chair lifts and restaurants. The facilities were great, everything you needed was available in the communal area, and the staff was always available to help when required. The access and options for the onsen were amazing.

The only improvement would be to have some dining equipment (cups, plates, bowls, utensils) available in the individual rooms - for those who don't wish to eat in the communal area all the time.

We got here off season to enjoy the Onsen. Because of that and the fact the the hotel does not offer any food, it was pretty hard finding anything. The hotel's facilities are somewhat old but are managed ok, this is mainly seen in the Outdoors Onsen which is very small and feels like you are in someone's backyard and in the room. The room is authentic but has a very old vibe to it, So come here only if you are expecting an authentic experience. In summary, the price is great for what you get, do come here, but know what for!

Large room space. Quiet location.not too far from the lifts.

No availability of breakfast options in house. Meant we had to make alternative arrangements. It's a small inconvenience but it's much nicer being able to have breakfast at your own accommodation. Would have preferred a ski storage room within the actual building for better security of gear (they have an external site shed type arrangement), however Japan has a really low crime rate so probably not a big deal once you accept that.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a good location near enough town yet far away enough that nature is just outside. The rotenburo (outdoor onsen) was tiny but nice to have; it's literally and figuratively, forest bathing! 😁

On this trip, I've noticed quite a few hotels aren't always staffed at all hours. Perhaps each room could have a prominently placed "Fact Sheet" with common FAQ's for guests to refer to when the staff aren't around.

This hotel was great for our needs. Although a little far from the main town and icy to walk. The Onsens were great.

I felt the price was high considering shared bathroom facilities and distance to walk on icy roads to town.

The location was good, and was scenic as it was situated right beside a river. The Onsen was very good as it had many facilities such as a sauna and cold pool. The rotemburo had a good view of the hillside and the trees.

Room was a little bit small for 3 people.

Spectacular onsen! And just a short walk up to the ski field & rental shops. The staff are lovely and there’s a shuttle service to the lodge which helped when the snow was crazy. Lots of amenities.

The stuffs are very kind and help us a lot, even call other hotel for our transit, also help my friend to buy cigarettes 🚬 , just for help, room is bigger than the picture, also the public bath is good enough,very private and not so many people.

If they can provide breakfast, then that is perfect.

i like tatami table and futon bed it's very new experience for my entire family, love the traditional room, big room for family, near from the ski area, onsen, easy to find food around there

a bit far for bus station and icing if you there when winter, no laundry

The room was spacious, clean and nice. The view from the window was charming. The onsens, both outdoor and indoor, were great, comfortable and nice. The whole hotel is a pleasant place to relax.
